You inspired me to redo my daughters room! I’m 8 months pregnant and I wanted to do something special for her. Granted… since I’m 8 months pregnant my husband has been doing the harder stuff and I just ordered the things I wanted but it’s nearly done! The mattress should be delivered tomorrow and the bedding should be here Tuesday. Which is great because baby can come any day now 😳 And my daughter is so excited to have a big girl room and to be a big sister!

Glad others brought up the peel and stick for windows. It's more expensive than the spray by very worth it. Gives a more opaque and consistent finish. The only time I recommend the spray is if you are putting it on an accessible surface in your kids' room. One of our kids has full-length window doors, I had a door peel applied, which worked great when an older kid was in there, but with a younger child, he promptly got curious and peeled it off.

i have a giant bathroom (in a small apartment… weird 80s remodel) and i have gone from one drawer and a shelf when i moved in to filling all the drawers and shelving. stuff is fun and it’s normal to fill the space you’ve got.

You could put some homemade curtains inside the bookcase windows. You just need a piece of fabric you like stapled to the top of the door and bottom and then tie some rope or ribbon around the middle to pull it in to make an “X” shape.

Actually I ordered from Amazon that vinyl film and you use a spray bottle with water . It sticks on the glass with the water and never comes off, works really well.

I know you said the air around the farm was to blame, but if you're getting a lot of styes, it could also be because you're using old eye makeup. For example, if you're keeping opened packages of eye makeup from one summer to the next, you're keeping them too long (this goes for lip color, too). That's one of the hazards of having far too much makeup-you never use it up in a timely manner.

Your bathroom is as big as bedroom in my house. We have a master bathroom it's 8 X 5. I can't imagine having a bookcase in my bathroom. Our only storage is the medicine cabinet, under the 24" vanity sink, and a rack I hung for towels.

Great job! I switched to bare minimum in skincare, with brands that have proven to work for me. The only thing that I have introduced to my routine is couple od beauty gadgets, that do not take up a lot of space ahahha. Foreo Bear and Luna facial brush. recommend looking into those .

I joined the challenge, but my focus has been our unfinished basement. It has been a catchall for four and a half years. Our oldest will be graduating high school in May, so we've set a goal to have it decluttered, framed, and finished by then.

I also use to get alot of styes - comes to find out that it's more problems with the glands at the base of the lashes. It also coninsides with chronic dry eye problems. So I had to give up eye makeup completely & no more styes!

I just love how you went down the line, “toothbrushes, deodorant and ball washing stuff.” Not so quick story: i ordered that ball cream for my ex husband for Christmas (we are still family & celebrate together w our 18yr old daughter). We had a lot of laughs over that cream… well? Last week i group texted w him and our daughter. “Hey dad, hows that ball cream workin?” Daughter at work: “omg im with my boss doing videos on my phone for the store and he saw that! Stop texting now.” 😅

I love that organization. I just worry that most of these products are going to expire before you even get to them. Most creams should be used in the 6 or 12 months after opening. Same for sunscreens

Angie, I'm not trying to be rude whatsoever. You don't need all that!! You're beautiful just the way you are. I'm getting so much anxiety and sadness seeing all those products. I love makeup but the older my daughters get the more I just realize a lot of this stuff is a waste, of money, time, energy and it's never enough. It feels heavy.
