You could tea-dye or coffee-dye the curtains to reach that "natural" tone you were taking about.. If you're replacing them anyway it won't matter too much if it doesn't; work out, but I think it could look very attractive. Love the green.

My aunt is a very crafty quilt maker, mostly primitive style. She takes old pendleton plaid wool fabric, washes it so it becomes felt like and over dyes the fabric. She will also over dye cotton and linen fabrics, using RIt but also uses walnut, indigo, natural dyes. I have a charcoal gray sofa from world market with removable cotton slip covers and I dyed it using RIT black and created a multi tonal effect. I am new to the Lone Fox channel, a year later after the beginning of the pandemic. I am about to transform my bed room after I wade through the clutter. Beautiful transformation!

Thank you for the video! Last August we painted feature walls (one in each room) to our flat with the exact same colour. We love this colour and decided to paint other walls with slightly warmer white paint. They go together so well. Same time we changed all the knops to our kitchen and doors. These small changes really turned our home to look as we wanted and every morning I just feel blessed to live here. It took us 3 years to decorate this home and still, some few things are missing, but we are not in a rush :)

Love the room make over as usual and great you did it all with what you have. I’m clothing upcycler all my life, 50 plus years. When I want a new outfit I go into my closet and grab 2 or 3 things and sew them into one! All my clothing is bought at thrift, most of my life. Poor equals creativity. But I’m 5”3”. Step stools are part of my life always! I have a toddlers one step for the kitchen! Ha! I finally found a vintage Cosco (not the store I think) brand 40s counter stool, fill out step stool. They have wood version that are a sit down chair and step stool. Amish made on those.
