Amy, I just wanted to let you know that I live in South Texas on the coast near Houston and we have had Hurricane Beryl hit us on July 8. We had about 100 mile an hour winds. Every home in our community either has a tree down in the yard, on the house, or across the roadway. We have not made much progress in cleanup because it has rained so much every since. I had a tree fall on my roof and water leak leaving water spots on the ceilings in three different rooms. They came and put a tarp over my roof but it continued to leak so they came in slicker suits in the pouring down rain and hammered tarpaper till they can repair the roof. Also a tree fell through my new deck that had just been redone and crushed it. Another tree fell over my driveway where I couldn’t get my car out of the garage and the neighbors cut that up for me. So sweet. There’s still giant stumps that need to be ground up when it gets dryer. I have already received money from my insurance company but repairs have not been started yet. So I really feel for these people that were affected by hurricane Debbie and I’m praying also. Thank you for remembering them. This is all been hard on me at my age and with my health problems so I would appreciate your prayers also. Love in Christ

We live in the same county as you, but at the North end. Our neighborhood had flooding from Debby, but all of the homes were high and dry. We were hit by the tornado a couple of years ago and the support our neighborhood received was amazing. I love all the community support we have in our county and surrounding counties.

Hi Amy, just wanted to say I love watching your videos. I’ve watched you since the early days, I want to say it’s been at least 6 years, and your videos have been so helpful! I’m a Mom of 6, always going places and doing things with/for the kids, and love watching your videos when I am cleaning. ❤️ We recently lost everything in a total loss house fire, and have had to watch from my phone while I clean in our temporary home. But it makes things more “normal”, to hear you in the background, if that makes sense. All that to say, I appreciate you sharing what you do over the years, it’s like watching a friend.

Hi Amy, I think it's awesome how the community came together, and it's sad what people have gone through. I'm keeping them in my prayers. The desk and vanity look great, and I know your kiddos will enjoy them❤. I would like to have prayers go out for me and my grandsons. I raise. We have been dealing with a lot, and some is my major back disability. There's too much to go into details, but let me just say there's a lot on my plate and having a hardship. Great video! Glad you are all safe. Love the desk and vanity! You may want to consider a rolling mat for under Caycens chair. After awhile the rolling movement can damage the rug. I found out the hard way.

Praying for y’all! My town is finally getting back to “normal” after Debby ❤ And it’s great that GJ is into skincare! Never too early to take care of ur skin. Best thing my mom did was take me to Clinique counter at 11 for proper skincare/routine! I’m 42 now but thanks to my mom’s forethought & my adherence to skincare since puberty (products may have changed but routine hasn’t), I look much younger than a mom in her 40s!! Even my 3yo & 6yo girls have a skin routine: gentle face wash, moisturizer, & face sunscreen everyday! They will thank me later 😉

My family and I live in Savannah and our yard got a little flooded but not to bad. My husband's dad lives in bloomingdale ga and oh my goodness his property is flooded up to your shoulders its sooo crazy. My husband's grandpa and some other family lives in Statesboro there doing ok. I'm keeping everyone in my prayers that we're effected from this storm.

We live in South Carolina. It came right over the county we live in. My driveway was completely flooded. My yard was a little flooded. I was stuck inside for three days. Couldn’t get out. At least we didn’t lose power. There is a river right down from us and our road was completely flooded.

Two people works best when assembling furniture. I put a cat tower together with my daughter. She got a kitten for her and her husband, it stays in their room right now. We have a midsize dog that we are getting her used to the new addition gradually.

That vanity and gaming station are PERFECT❤❤❤ my girls were not allowed to wear makeup or do the whole skin care stuff other than a lotion and face wash until they were 13 lol so I didn’t have to deal with that lol I feel so bad for moms now a days with multiple girls! Stuff is so expensive! I just simply didn’t allow it because I wanted my babies to stay young like they should and have a normal childhood and then at 13 I started them with mascara and a soft lip color and if they wanted a little blush that was ok. Then once 15 hit they could do full makeup. Now don’t get me wrong… to each their own, and I let my girls where makeup and play with it and experience and stuff just they were not allowed to wear it to school until they were 13. ❤
