Beautiful makeover. For me the handle on the middle door looks odd not being level with the other two door handles. I would turn it horizontal and put it at the top center of the door in line with the knobs.

I loved the wood top after you painted your cabinet so I would’ve left it wood. The contrast and richness of the wood was beautiful!! But overall the whole area has so much character it’s beautiful

If it was real wood I would have kept it but it was a laminate and looked odd with the other real wood pieces I have in the room!

I agree, the wood top tied the cabinet in more with the space I think. It would have paired so nicely with those food jars and the baskets on the shelf. The white top is nice too, but the wood looked so much better in my opinion.

It looks so great. I think I would have moved the shelf supports so the picture frame moulding could have been symmetrical, but it probably won't matter to most people. The battery sconces are genius.

We've turned one of the bedrooms (my childhood bedroom actually) into our tv room too, but in order to fit the couch in here, the closet houses the tv which sucks because it's across the window and, you know, glare. Here's what I LOVE about this makeover - you didn't fight the existing off-centered shelf brackets, you made it all work with the molding and paint. You showed us that we can make the same upgrades in our own homes without reconstruction which can hold us back from such projects.
