Lived in Minnesota for 28 yrs. Beautiful state and kind people with a strong non-complaining work ethic. Used to go cross country skiing in the morning after sunrise on cold winter mornings after a fresh snow. Remember the trees creaking in the extreme cold. Those times were extremely calming, peaceful, and reviving. I had a camper too and visited much of that state. I do miss it there and hope to visit soon.

Nice to finally see you, Mandy. My wife passed a few years ago, and I always felt I was the luckiest man because my wife of over 40 years was always up for any kind of adventure. I liked taking my truck camper out every month. State would always plow out several sites, one morning awoke to the furnace running every 5 minutes, the ceramic heater I used usually was all I'd need, discovered it was -12°, that explained why the furnace was active. I took one of our dachshunds when camping, they loved it. Truck camper has everything but floor space.

We were out of town for the grandkids.....but now wonder of you weren't there as we drove by on 61. I saw my favorite BIG pine in one of your shots. The falls are running really good this winter. You guys really got the privacy this weekend at a normally busy park. And again....that tripod....I think we need to invest in that cover!

Just a tip: Make sure next time you stay anywhere there is electricity you use a Surge Protector on the end of your electric cord just in case the parks electricity has surges, so it wont damage your camper's Electrical. Beautiful Waterfalls there, glad your brought your family along this time.

Yes. You are 100% correct. I don't have much experience with them. Can I get away with buying a cheaper surge protector? Or is it an item that you get what you pay for. I have never run with one.

@@KennyOfAllTrades you get what you pay for. The best type are EMS type, they with shut the power off before you have an issue. A surge only protects against a surge, like from a lightning strike. EMS will protect you from almost any electrical issues, such as surges, open grounds, reverse polarity, high or low voltage.

Thanks for the comment. I'm glad you are hearing the call from nature too! Life is short, and there's a HUGE chunk of land to explore. For years, I watched my favorite RV KZbin channels traveling the country. I always said, "One day, when I retire, I'm going to travel just like them." Then I realized that tomorrow isn't a guarantee. I hope others realize that being a weekend adventurer can be rewarding. Maybe on day I'll have the opportunity to travel full-time. But for now, I'm just like most of the viewers. I got a job, kids, mortgage, bills....going deep into the woods on the weekends is what keeps me sane in our crazy busy world.

Back a few years ago I ran out of propane in the middle of the night with the fifth wheel at deer camp, thankfully we had electric heater, but it was around 5 degrees outside and only about 38 inside. Thankfully the electric blanket kept me warm. Lol moral of the story, always check your tanks!!!!
