I don't know if I care for the wood look on the bottom, but you guys did an amazing job restoring this piece. I would have preferred the bottom painted the same as the rest, but to each his/her own. lol. Good job!

Wow!!! That piece was really destroyed. But you guys brought it back to life love the color and the simplicity. Happy New Year wishing you blessings 😊

Years back when I didn’t know any better about the furniture refinishing, but I needed a temporary desk for my daughter, I used a liquid sander on really swollen and sanded desk top… I did twice and then believe it or not I’ve stained that desk with gel stain, but didn’t wipe the stain, because I didn’t know I should do that… it was drying for ever, but when it finally was dry it looked really good… at the same time I stained a kitchen table and chairs from light oak color to dark stain… they were in good shape only color change… 15 years later they still look really good… I’m planning to go over with restore to refresh them… my daughter still has that desk in her basement and it still looks decent…. Sometimes accidents teach us something new…😅

It turned out beautiful. But, you did pay 40 dollars too much. That was a whole lot of work. I give you a lot of credit. That would have gone into my burn pile halfway through.

Thank you! I know, I couldn’t see all the damage till I was there in person 😩 I definitely had my moments of regret getting it but luckily it turned out!

It came out nice, but i really hope you learned not to get something that damaged ever again. Way too much work and material was needed.
