Designer here! I suggest you floating wood nightstands smaller than the space in between the walls and beds. I also suggest the window trim in white to brighten up the bed wall since you painted everything, the bedroom can feel a little claustrophobic so, having the window white, brings light into that wall. Also, add wood tones, gold accents, texture that is neutral, since the green is already loud. I would also add a bench on the bottom of the bed and mounting the TV while having a frame on it so it looks like art! It looks really good so far! Good luck!

I agree. I would also paint the doors and all molding and trim in the room white to brighten up the room. And I would add a medium sized crystal chandelier to the ceiling as your main light fixture. If it were me, I would hang white mini blinds to the windows for privacy and insulation purposes. And I would introduce 1 more color to the room by adding white sheer curtains to the inside of your current white drapes and also a set of soft pink sheer curtains to the center of your curtains. Love where you're going in the room. Maybe extend your curtains wall to wall so when you add your extra panels it'll give the illusion of a bigger window and look more custom. Great job...love yall!

Kayla, I suggest you switch your lightbulbs in your bedroom to the ones that give white light, rather than the yellow bulbs that you have now. I believe that they’re called daylight. It’s looking so pretty.

Definitely agree with everyone else. Extending the curtain pole and curtains will balance the size of the room and the bed.(hotels do this all the time) It will also ground it and make nightstands look more cohesive. Definitely choose the warm wood again too! It will look stunning 😍

I absolutely love the color!!!! Consider Floating shelves as a nightstand, in the oak color as the larger nightstand. Would have to find extra storage in the closet. Since your lights look like their floating it would have a nice look to it. The lights are gorgeous by the way. Good decision on the center light.

I love the bold green. I was scared at first but it’s beautiful 🌿 Ideas: Change out your curtains to clip tops instead of the hoops, it will elevate the look. Add a chunky cozy neutral blanket/throw to the bottom of your bed for texture. It will help highlight the colors in your gorgeous new rug.

For added protection on your bed you can add bigger slats to your bed since Marcus is a GREAT wood carpenter. My husband added that to our bed because the slats were to thin that came with our bed. Just a suggestion.

I think one principle of design is to start with your main piece and then design around it. In this case, the “love” piece are the hanging lights. When you put the round top table it popped because…design. (So maybe get some round tables that better meet your storage needs?). You have a gut sense for it. Can’t wait to see where you go with it. :-)

Wall colour looks really good, I like the suggestion by another viewer about extending the width of the curtains behind bed to fit the expanse of the wall. The round table looks to small but the wood tone and metal legs looked good. I think that the window frame/trim could be painted black for a nice contrast with the green and the light colours on the bed and curtains. Perhaps the art frames could be black to help ground the space. I also love the rug.

I love the Walmart nightstands they add storage and lots of style. The height and width is in proportion to the space and keep the legs on it’s stunning. I agree with others the curtains need a extra panel on both sides to make them lush and full. Add mirrors above the nightstands, the rug is gorgeous consider pulling it out a little to expose it. Consider a modern ceiling fan. Bench with storage at end of the bed

Measure the length and height before you purchase the new nightstands. You can purchase the wooded bed stand and paint them or use a bed skirt to cover them. Suggestion: a bench in the corner would keep the space open and add some ottomans under the bench for extra seating or to rest your feet. Make sure you cleanse your front load washer to avoid bacteria.

Your on the right track Ms Kayla. Get an end table that fits your style and something that would compliment that space. When selecting your next end table. Don't be afraid to think out of the box. Get inspired from places like a living room , I did. When I looked and looked. In the bedroom section. I couldn't find what I wanted. So my plan A didn't inspire me. But when I thought outside the box it came to me. Plan B gave me tons of options. I selected a would be coffee table as my TV stand and. Im using a would be end table as my night stand. 😊❤❤❤

Girl i really love that green. im in love!! and I also love the addition of white on the bed and rug, but I do think some darker moodier curtains would really ground everything and make that wall an accent type wall. you could even incorporate a floral pattern or another classy pattern. Also expanding how wide the curtain rod goes would give the illusion of a bigger window and make a bigger impact. Cant wait to see everything finished!!
