That mirror that she thrifted ages ago! It looks like it was made to fit that space. And, of course, the sideboard that she lined with that beautiful paper is so perfect. My little cave apartment on the fjord is dying for some attention, but it lacks any sort of character. All me and my son want this year is redo our bedrooms and we need it so badly. We suffer from a chronic lack of space, having moved a house of 135sqm into 'the cave' of about 72sqm.

These diy videos always offer so much inspiration and help me see things in a new way. I'm working on lightening my wall colors to make the rooms look bigger. I currently have dark walls and dark furniture. The space feels like a cave!

WOW! THIS TRULY TURNED OUT ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Every.single.thing. Is perfect!! The wall color is now saved in my phone to use in a room in my home. I now own the home that i grew up in as a child. My nana is 86 and it was to much house for her both space wise and financially so I decided as a single mama of two kiddos moving in and taking over the bills was the smartest decision for me because I would never be able to buy a large house like I am in on my complete own at this point in my life as I am starting over after leaving my children’s father. So now I Am slowly but surely making over each room in our home and I am obsessed with this gorgeous cream color. It is seriously that perfect shade that goes with absolutely everything!!! I also have to add that when i redid my kiddos bathroom 1.5years ago I put in a 1 piece chair height toilet and it made me go out and buy 2 more for the other bathrooms in my home because the seamless lines makes cleaning AMAZING but the height is perfect specially for my grandmother. It’s much more comfortable. I always wanted to go with just matte black hardware but now after watching your video mixing the soft gold and matte black hardware is BEAUTIFUL and I can’t decide how I want to do it now hahaha!! I am so excited for all of your other room makeovers! You always make over a space beautifully and without breaking the bank which i really appreciate!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! A bathroom, to me, needs to be soothing as well as comfortable and functional. I have no idea why, probably because a person's more intimate business is taken care of in the bathroom. Can't fathom there could be a thumbs down on this. You are so talented and joyful. Just what we need right now. I did a minimal makeover of the principal bath in the older house we recently bought. Painted everything white including the ugly shades of brown "contemporary" backsplash tiles, switched out the crystal door pulls and replaced a towel rack over the tub with rustic shelving similar to yours. Topped (or should I say bottomed?) it off with a boho paisley rug to give the space warmth. Great minds think alike! Thanks for the best Saturday morning entertainment I could have asked for. All the really functional parts, the hard work - the vanity, plumbing, and hardware and toilet and wainscoting are great, but it is your finishing touches that really make the space - that beautiful rug, the framed pints, the plants and curtain, the mirror, the shelves and sconces. Beautiful combination. Not sure I like the shower curtain with the rug, but seeing the room from the doorway, everything is stunning! Great job. Love how the black floor anchors the space. Love the work you did on the cabinet with decoupage. I'm so happy for you. As an aside, your best bud Alexandra seems to have rejected towel bars so may have some 'splaining to do to her for choosing one. It looks great.

With the glitter, mix it in with the paint, paint the floor and then lightly sand. Test it first to make sure this works with your paint but this is the best way I've found. Love the makeover!

First impression "Whoa" .. Its a Warm, Comfy, Elegant "Tre Magnificent" room. It looks like a picture from a magazine that came to life. Individuals can diy, but, you have it in your blood. I love old things..I love new things. This bathroom is the perfect balance of both and the wainscoting looks like it could’ve been there all along. I love the painted floor.
