Extreme fishing expedition for Wolf fish - Deep in the jungle of Suriname

Wow, I don't even know where to start, this was an excellent video. I normally don't like videos that are over 10 or 15 minutes long because I get bored, but this was different. I love the drone shots and the beauty of the river. Those wolf fish put up a great fight and you guys caught so many of them. Camping in the jungle must be a fun experience, but all those other critters like the scorpions would freak me out. Anyway, keep up the entertaining videos.

@@arvifishingadventures4305 Oh I bet. The time spent fishing could always be longer. Do you know if all those wolf fish are the same species? Or are there many different species of wolf fish found in Suriname?

@@TheFishingNomad all of them are the same type hoplias aimara. But there are different kindes like red wolf fish, golden wolf fish and hoplias malabaricus.

Nice fishing expedition video. Caught a lot of these as a teenager in Berbice (your neighbor), Guyana back in 1960s. May I suggest a landing net to scoop the hooked fish into the boat. In that way you will not lose any fish, especially the big ones. I always use one when I used to fish in the ocean.
