I finally took the leap, bought one, and flipped it. You guys…this is probably now in my top FIVE favorites that I’ve flipped so far! 🤗🤩

My first flip piece was a mismatched dining set of 6 chairs with a large table. I redid in a farmhouse style following your techniques. I recovered the seats with vinyl. I used the set, but am selling my house. The buyers asked if they could exchange the $500 I was to give them towards repairs for the dining set. I bought it used for $100.

I've never been a fan of these ornate pieces, but I must admit that seeing it in a color vs bland brown, it looks so so much better. The legs & hardware really complete the modern vibe. Great transformation! P.S... Congrats on your new home!🌷🏠🌷

I feel the same way. In dark wood I really don’t like them, but a dramatic color seems to make all the difference! I have seen them in hot pink, emerald green and burnt orange and they were all beautiful.

I saw a couple of tiny winy chips around the legs. I would give the lady some sample to fix it. Otherwise it is simply amazing. But what I would add is sanding and waxing inside. Or even spraying inside aswell. Modern makeovers, a Japanese guy does it often. Is super cool. If not spraying inside I would wax it or lime wax.

I just finished my first piece for my home. I must say sanding forever was not my favorite chore! I picked up my piece for $30 and it is all hardwood oak and cherry. I used Rust-Oleum Linen white and the smoked glaze to faux it. It has a pull out desk drawer and I stained it with up in smoke Dixie Belle. The trim in charcoal. Thanks to your videos it turned out beautiful and I have received many compliments on it. Thanks so much for your help thru your tips and tricks.😊

WOW It came out beautiful and love it with the legs. That Blue color which looks purple on my end here matched the pants you were wearing when you 1st started to paint it. Also there are these handle things that you can put on the top of spray paint cans to have a trigger that is supposed to be much easier to shoot paint into your piece with. Also noticed the RV gone in the garage there giving you way more room to do what you do in. Makes me wonder now you have that new house you all got the things you will be creating in there. Also want to say that the cameraman does an awesome job of helping you show off your products as well as the way you apply everything. Bravo! Love your channel, I see why you are so successful!

LOVED THIS, Lauren!!! I totally agree that those legs make all the difference! I've seen so many similar, ornate pieces, but really didn't like how heavy they looked sitting on the floor. So much great inspiration from this, today! I finally bought my first pieces to flip. Took your advice and went with simple end tables with a matching coffee table. I'm nervous because it turned out to be all fake wood. So still deciding whether to try a gentle sanding just to rough it up enough to hold onto the paint, or to maybe try Dixie Belle Slick Stick. And as always, Neiman, love your work & music choices!

I know it's a little bit boho, but do you ever paint the hardware the same color as the piece itself? I think in this case although it would make the hardware not*pop* It would really let the ornate detail work stand on its own two feet.
