This is so great because I have most of these items already and just need to buy maybe 3 items to have what you purchased and try these meals. It's been a tight week $.

Dont let the negative Nellies get to ya! There is ALWAYS someone who has to try to find something to either complain about, disagree with or try to point out a flaw in your planning. I think you are doing a great job feeding 4 people on a very small budget, although I will say that some of your meals were a bit meager this week. Had you spent even $3 more and had a frozen veggie with each meal it would have rounded it out. But I do applaud you for coming up with all these meals on a struggle budget for sure and they do look very yummy!

I really liked that you bought 3 sources of protein. I rarely see that on budget meal videos. One suggestion please use the chicken carcass to make chicken broth. Then you can use the broth to cook your rice and beans in for more flavor. Great job

Everything looks great! I would have used those chicken bones boiled them and made a basic chicken broth and replaced the water in everything with it for even more favor

You can freeze the tomato paste in a lined ice cube tray and then pop out one cube at a time for use since we rarely use a whole can. Just a thought.😊

Honestly, I've found that MEALS Are relatively inexpensive. Ever for my family of 7. Like I'll put all the ingredients for a week of dinners in my cart... $25.. then add the milk, eggs, breakfast, fruits, veggies, yogurt, husbands lunch Ingredients, the seasonings or cooking things I'm out of, etc and suddenly the cart is $120...

Yes, Groceries are very expensive these days!

I agree, and I don’t think that this “extreme” budget is a very good fit for this channel. Take away all of the more expensive items “from the pantry” like olive oil, avocado oil spray, Aleppo pepper, etc and you aren’t left with much of a meal.

Hello! I just found your channel and like your content! I enjoy many channels created and hosted by home cooks. Using music during the intro is okay, but please consider eliminating it from the rest of the video as it is distracting and after 5 minutes really gets on the nerves. This is just my opinion and it is your channel to do with as you please. I wish only the best for you and your channel!

I was thinking maybe there is an issue with her drinking water. Thus the bottled water and use of paper plates to cut down on dishes. Just a thought….
@morganvillas64365 ай бұрын
I wouldn't think so since it not necessary. You can use regular water. She might just need to use it because the water is bad. I lived in a place like that, you couldn't even use it to cook.

Seriously? Not everyone lives in an area with good water. Many people in my area of the country refill jugs at water stations inside grocery stores.

maybe she doesn't want to use her tap water. possibly too much chlorine in it. especially if it is town water.
