Western Canada is absolutely awe-inspiring. I grew up hiking and climbing the Cascades in Oregon, so I was familiar with mountains. When I was in high school, I traveled through the Canadian Rockies. What I saw on that trip blew me away. It was truly breath-taking. I would love to travel in that region again someday. Thank you for the amazing video showing your adventure.

Shawn I just gotta say, you continue to always blow us away with not only your adventures but your amazing documentation of them. However, I feel someone has to tell you this. You don't have to keep topping your last video. This adventure, cool as it was, I actually got worried for you, man. And I realized you're more than just some ding dong youtuber. You really are an icon. Your videos got me through some rough stuff and now I'm living that overlanding life. So I hope, if you're pushing those limits, that you are doing it for you. Don't do it for us. We are content with watching you do a bit a rock crawling, find camp and make some soup. You don't need to top your last vid and you don't owe anybody anything at this point.... maybe more go pro camera work from your daughter is all we ask, but still.... Please be safe, I wanna watch you do what you do for a long time.

Very appropriate background music. Excellent drone footage. I liked the aerial view of you guys moving up the mining road w/ snowflakes falling past the drone on their way down. The shot that got me commenting here though was flying high over your camp at the lake, which was still shadowed from the morning sun, while the moving reflection in the lake mirrored a high ridge bathed in morning sunlight. THAT WAS DREAM-inducing. I can always tell when I’ve seen enough overland expedition videos for one day when all I can think of watching you guys is all the discretionary income I don’t have.

Good thing you are sponsored by Epic overland adventures’ cause this video definitely proved you are worthy Shaun !! SIMPLY STUNNING cinematography in this one . Your drone footage & easy going narrative make your channel among the Top 3 or so of ALL the Overlanding ones out there on social media these days . I had the opportunity to meet you in person last May in Flagstaff at the Overland West roundup and I’m serious when I said I’m officially retiring from full time work next year beginning of April & have offered to accompany you on some future adventures as I’m almost done with my build up on my own 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew cab overland rig . I’ve been off roading my entire life now , and at almost 65 now am ready to bust out and explore some more of whatever life and Mother Nature has to offer …. Having owned my rig over 21 years now I’m pretty confident of it & my abilities and have to say you are pretty damn Ballsy to attempt that bridge and some of that off camber shit you did in this video . Smart man to have a second separate rig and obviously competent person along to accompany you as everyone should when doing trails or adventures like you did. Just remember if you’re out in wilderness and encounter a large bear or other carnivores you only need to outrun the slowest member of your group …..😏😆😉. As a follower of your channel now and subscriber for some time I sincerely hope you get over half a million or more subscribers by years end buddy ……. Here’s to some possible future endeavors 🤞😎👍. Stay safe man…..
