8:22 It’s really nice to see someone actually sewing something instead of making it with a glue gun. I love making curtains for my home. I’ve always done that. Back in the day it was because we didn’t have much money, and now I make them to get the look I want.

You made a small space live large! Great projects. I too took a tablecloth and made curtains a few years ago. It is satisfying to know you made them yourself. My kitchen is big enough for a table but the kids are grown up now so I turned that area into a walk in pantry. I saved old jars and transferred my spices to them too. I moved my old pine bookcases from the family room to the kitchen for storage in the pantry and it transformed the space! No cost!. Looking forward to more videos! You area delightful beautiful person.

You are fearless! Few people would rip out their kitchen even if it wasn't working for them. I loved everything, from your talent with laying the floor tile to the curtains, the spice rack, all of it! I like to upcycle vintage pieces, and yours look awesome in your new kitchen! IKEA is my favorite store. A lot of people don't like to take the time to put things together, but the savings is a big factor to me. What a great way to start a new year! And I have never seen a stair basket before... That is beautiful and functional! I love how you include your boys in the day to day things like creating the menu. 💗

SPICE RACK! love it. now you need a little shelf added above those books for a nice plant/green added. I would add some awesome succulents to those 2 bowls with the cacti. My favorite is the curtain rod and curtain rod holders. I'm in the process of remodeling my home room-by-room so I will be making curtains so, therefore, I will need curtain rods and holders. I am considering using the curtain rod holders that you made. I mean to make them myself with hubby's help. Thanks for the inspiration. I love what you did with your kitchen. It is amazing how much countertop you have for such a small space. Also, I have my father-in-law's scroll saw which I have used only once. Now after seeing you use yours so much, I am anxious to use mine. I already have one project to use it for. Thank you for all the inspiration, I really appreciate it. Thank you, Phillip, for all the filming that you. You and Elysia make a great team. I am happy that you have each other.

Bet we would all be more than happy to see you use your talents as you put finishing touches on your home! Love your attention to detail on all your projects and really appreciated your taking us through the process of how you decided to make the curtains and add the tassles. Hard to pick a favorite but there is definitely a skill to making the stencil and getting that "E" to come out right as you piece it together that maybe the other projects don't require. The curtain rods and curtains were also great. How about painting that yellow bowl on the shelf in your favorite green? Think it would make a big difference!

What a cute little kitchen. I loved how you personalized it. The stair basket is my favourite! I have the same sewing machine, and use it for my sewing projects. I love the curtain length with the knots. You could add an extension rod with a lace panel for the bottom half of the window and that way you could leave your curtains tied up and still have privacy. I also like having butter on the counter and have a vintage clear glass dish the size of a pound of butter that I found at a thrift store.
