You guys did a great job, the kitchen has a much more upscale look now. That colour is much better. I love the island with the Butcher block top and the black shelves. The only thing I would do to really make the look, is replace the faux subway tile backsplash. I would apply faux marble contact paper (white & grey) down the wall onto the countertops. That way it looks like it's all marble. I'd also cover the bottom of the end cabinet (so you don't see the wood colour) with the black paper to make it look more polished.

Thanks for the advice. The backsplash is real subway that came with the apartment. We did do anything to that lol.
