I think the “off center” center Ed in the room dining table was a blessing in disguise, it looks so much more naturally balanced with the styling! It actually looks even more elevated than if everything was 100% symmetrical because that would feel more modern. It doesn’t FEEL off centre, it feels deliberate and designed and high end and balanced. Well done!

I've got 3 kids under 3 (the older 2 are 10 months apart) and run my own Etsy store. I treat my business just like any other job and follow through on my promises to customers. If she doesn't have a video edited and ready to go by the time she says it will be, then she needs to work on her time management and create a posting and editing schedule that actually works for her. Editing and filming the day of/before she promises to be posting clearly isn't working for her (and this was way before Cade was here) We can all understand a late upload every once in a while, but at this point it's really disrespectful to her viewers

Outrageously beautiful kitchen! We solved a similar problem with an off-set light by turning the table on a diagonal but I love your solution! Also when Cade is in a high chair you might want to consider cutting a clear shower curtain to fit underneath to catch everything he will drop. Ruggables are wonderful but it's a bigger job to move chairs and pads etc to clean. The shower curtain isn't the most attractive but it's temporary and easy to pick up and clean off and tuck away when meals are finished.

My baby is 21 and during one of our mama/son chats recently, he said that he finds it so sad that so many of the people he meets never had those family moments 😢 For many of his childhood friends, our home was the scene of those moments for them, and from a woman who struggled with infertility and didn’t become a mom until I was 38, the fact that I was Mama Fox to all of them is a blessing I am grateful for!

I remember seeing the video when you revealed the house and the kitchen and I stopped watching because I got busy with school and work and oh my goodness…to come back after so much time and see THIS. So incredibly beautiful. Your mind >>>

As an interior designer who has overseen the tiniest details of this with such precision I must admit I’m surprised that you didn’t realise how close the dishwasher would be to the table. Or that you didn’t like the light there.
@Lucinda_Jackson4 ай бұрын
I think she did talk about it in an earlier video when she deciding where to put the light and whether it would feel too close. If I remember, I think she said she knew it fit, but wasn't sure how comfortable it would feel. And she knew she might need to make adjustments. But I don't think she had an actual table at that point.

I think the table and chairs are too large for the space, an island with stools would have been more functional, and her front room could have been the formal dining area. But what do I know! 😀

You would think an interior designer would catch that wouldn’t you ?

So, what time are we all coming over for dinner? 😂 I got a little emotional seeing the reveal. What a journey! The kitchen looks AMAZING!!! And the table being “off-center” looks so good!

And, a sigh of relief…I can’t imagine how excited you all are because I have been chomping at the bits and it’s not my kitchen. MaCenna, it is so beautiful done. I love it all. Every little detail has been envisioned and carried out. From the ceiling to the floor it is just so gorgeous and truly screams you and Romeo. I love it so so much. Thank you for sharing with us your many talents. Thank you for taking the time to put together such a beautiful display to watch. Its perfection. I’m so happy for you. You deserve this.

Love how this turned out, absolutely gorgeous!! So much family life happens in the kitchen and around the dining table! I suggest a high chair at one end of the table for daily use, so convenient

Very impressed. You can be proud!! Some thoughts: - Stripes cafe curtains could be nice and french vibey as well! And a bit less 'feminine' - As a person that lives to cook, the decorations on the counter tops seem very impractical. Maybe place cute but usable utensils etc? - Maybe a fabric light (seems oldschool) of Tiffany light is fitting above the sink?

I can tell that having the dining table be off center is bothering you lol 😂 having things be off center makes a space feel more casual which I think is totally more y’all’s vibe! Such a beautiful space I’m so happy for yall ❤

Lucky for her that her energy matches her enthusiasm, ha ha. This kitchen is a work of art. The whole house is a gem. I find so much inspiration not only in her taste but in her attitude. Love her to pieces.

@@darlenemchenry1104 the texture she did on the Texas hood ???? using maybe a color that is in the countertops? It must look good in person because you know it would be bothering her too lol - Hang a beautiful wreath on it during the holidays? I wonder if she just painted it a color that is in the countertops? I don't know - Because of the tuscan feel I think the texture would look great - again not my kitchen lol - I did think of something else too having a pass through counter at the kitchen window I had one for years and it was great when you had outdoor get togethers for food and cleanup - not having to go to the doors all the time - I used to yell ORDER UP every time lol - makes it so much easier whether grilling or cooking inside to bring things out =) Well that was a rant LOL

@XO, MaCenna What a lovely kitchen you've created for your family! I want to give you a word of CAUTION: In high school, I used to work in an antique shop and they specialized in lighting fixtures. On my first day on the job, I was told that one should never, ever use a window or glass cleaner on crystals or any part of a chandelier or vintage light. The chemicals in products like Windex are very hard on crystals and cut glass. Not all vintage crystals and baubles are made of the same material, so it's best to be on the safe side. I cleaned more crystals from chandeliers than I care to mention, but I could do three layer tiers in half an hour. And, you have to take them off, clean them, and put them back on. We used a 60/40 solution of white vinegar and water. Filtered or distilled water is recommended. If any spots remain after air drying, increase your vinegar-to-water ratio. By the way, I love your toile curtains so much! I thought the blue looked good until you brought out the brown, and wow! Also, if the switch plates bother you that much you could do one of these options: cover the switchplates with your toile fabric using matte Mod Podge, or get some paintable wallpaper and paint it your wall color. You can also use Rub n Buff in your desired color. Very lightly sand the switchplate and the switch or rocker, and apply the Rub n Buff. I've done this in my bedroom, and it works! If I were doing it for a bathroom or kitchen I would spray a clear topcoat over it for easy cleaning. Sorry for the long comment!
