Suggestion...take the glass out of the doors that are allready there, trim it out to seal and attach the antique doors to the inside side of those doors. Like sandwiching the doors together. It would make the antique doors safer & more stable. It would make the doors thicker but would also give you the same look you want without removing the old doors or having to rehinge the antique doors.

During the years I lived in WeHo, I attended (several times) Duquette's environmental art installation, 'Our Lady Queen of the Angels'.He was a master of set and interior design as well as a surrealist visionary. And he died on 9/9/1999. Seek out more about him, You'll be impressed.
