@@ThatGingerHannah I’m from Canada and had some bunnies living in my backyard and had a pet bunny when I was a kid so I’m pretty familiar with them and see their tracks every winter! I knew right away but still had to google them because of my self doubt 😂

I am born and raised in Southern California. During my party days in the 80s, yup I'm that old, we would go to Big Bear all the time...go hiking during the day and to all the old fashioned bars and play pool at night. Such happy memories 💜💙💚💛🧡

I grew up in So Cal also and my dad owned the ice cream shop in Big Bear in the 70's. It seems to be as quaint as it used to be, unlike what Lake Arrowhead has become!

Love the two pots and pic off center idea!! Still rooting for the front room to be the dinning room with a little seating arrangement by the window and remodeling the kitchen to open up and use the current "dining" space along with the current kitchen space.

10:35 definitely think skiing is way better and easier than snowboarding. Give it a try sometime. It’s pretty easy to pick up and balancing is way easier.

Those stools are very popular in Philippines back then even until now. Villagers put them in front of their small store. It's for everybody to sit to relax especially in the middle of the day and is sunny and people are drinking soda and coconut wine....I love those memories. Thank you for reminding me my childhood😍

Hi Macenna! You really got beautiful things at OliveAteliers! This what you call "wooden riser" is actually "chapati /Indien bread/ board". I have one like this in The kitchen, which I use for rolling chapati or puri /another kind of Indien bread/ dough. And I have another one in my room, which I am also using as The "riser" for beautiful things.

I have never tried snow boarding, but I think you will find skiing easier for getting off the lift. It takes a bit to gain confidence, but a few times and it becomes natural. Take a class first and then try. You might do best at first alone on the lift because you don't have to avoid someone else as they get off.

I love this video! Every time I go somewhere it's back to Alabama to see my best friends. ( I live in Florida) And my best friend has a Maltipoo too, and I absolutely love him! I'm his favorite too, I love getting to see Kensley she's so precious and keeps me from missing Marley so much. That doesn't even begin to touch the love I have for your and your Mom's relationship. Omg a gallery wall with different shapes and on the smaller scale frames of art would look soso good on top of the fireplace with the vases! You can put that oil painting your mom painted of lil kinsley! And the. By the wall by the door, you could do a sideboard/ credenza with a huge maybe arched metal or vintage mirror. 😍

You'd like skiing. Nobody's less athletic than me, but the key for me was taking a lesson with a pro--even if it's a group lesson. I LOVED skiing. Past tense because physical limitations make it impossible now. ❄

As someone who grew up both skiing and snowboarding, I personally felt that skiing was easier to learn. I feel that there are more helpful tools available to skiers. And I could totally see you as a skier :) don’t give up! It’s so fun!

This is the first winter that we didn't go to Big Bear and it was so nice to watch you visit (I also take the snow bunny approach and read a good book and stay cozy in the cabin) My grandpa had a cabin and we've been going there since I was like 8 or 9 years old(about 30 years ago 😬) but he recently passed and the cabin was sold. I grew up in San Gabriel county (Glendora). When I was a young teen my friends & I used to bike into the mountains. We would stay at one of my friends gramma's little cabin & bile back the next day. As an adult I lived in Newport Beach. California is amazing. Like you said.. within a couple hours you can experience the ocean, the mountains and the desert.

I went through something similiar on the snow hills. The next time I took ski beginner lessons on the bunny hills. It was fun but exhausting. It will take a few lessons but they say your body shape is perfect for skiing. But I am a reader so empathize with that desire!
