If you've been looking for deck decorating ideas on a budget - hopefully this video is right on time for Summer! Last year, we built our deck ourselves and this year, we turned it into this dreamy outdoor oasis!
I love modern and contemporary design, along with neutral color palettes. So that was the inspiration for the outdoor patio makeover design. Ever since learning about Scandinavian design, I've taken a love towards hygge and creating cozy spaces like this one!

One thing I picked up from my techie son is "smart outlets". You can buy them to plug into your exterior outlets, and plug your lights into them. They're made for outdoor (mine are under eaves). They can be programmed for when you want them off or on and they will do so automatically. Controlled by your smart phone.

This makeover was definitely an investment but one that is WELL worth it considering how nice it is to enjoy/host people over ❤️ I really considered what I needed out of the space and did what was needed to make it beautiful and functional! And I’m glad I shopped more budget friendly stores over high end because that ultimately saved a lot as well. 🙏🏼

However I wanted to advise you that, I clicked on the first 4 links for your items bc I literally want to get almost everything and it takes you to Target where it says this item is out of stock. If I had to assemble any furniture, I wouldn't have any. You did a great job. It's not my thing but I love watching other people do it in videos. I would've loved to see live plants but the final look was fabulous. My fav was the fire elements. It added ambiance.
