Thank you the summit is a back flip machine on 6s, it brings up that fun factor quite a few notches lol

@@fullthrottleobsessions OTOH doing wheelies when drag racing doesn't help so I am trying to find a good wheelie bar to use. One that is adjustable but also not disintigrate under the weight and power!

Thank you so much for linking the batteries. I've been looking so long for new batteries for my summit that has the old traxxas style connector
@fullthrottleobsessions5 жыл бұрын
Right on bud, if you have the stock Esc you'll need to get the 2s packs not the 3s packs that are linked

So have you had any problems running the summit on 6S I will not be running mine with my lockers Engaged
@fullthrottleobsessions4 жыл бұрын
I definitely have broke the summit on 6s it really wasn't ment to handle that much power, I told myself that aswell but for some reason the locker would get stuck between lock and unlock so it broke the locker in the rear diff which I ended up permanently locking the rear which made it way stronger

Looks good I just posted my summit on 6s to power pretty cool seeing another one did you do the trans and diffs if so what brand did you use?
@fullthrottleobsessions5 жыл бұрын
Right on bud ill definitely check it out, I did i blow the rear diff in the first few minutes. I ended up taking apart the diff, thoroughly cleaning it and added some epoxy to fully lock the rear diff and strengthen it
@earlmoorhead55555 жыл бұрын
FullThrottle Obsessions yes I did the same but found true machine did Billet diffs so got those front and rear been ok since but the company out of business now wanted to find more of them

I had the same issue bud i blow the spider gears in the first few minutes on my first run on 6s, I took apart the rear diff and throughly cleaned it then i added some of this puddy when i reinstalled the spiders www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RN7CT2U/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=prepperzsourc-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B00RN7CT2U&linkId=6fb88e8352992cd4a90ec61a5572cc3c you have to be careful not to add to much puddy to ensure you get the ring gear to sit flush with the carrier

Question was thinking of doing a hydroplaning rig do you think the summit is fast enough to hydroplane
@vwoffroad51015 жыл бұрын
Definitely getting paddle tires and pretty sure of a brushless system do you think you can make it in high gear no diff at least 10 long feet of water or do I need to gear it up or is it not possible
@fullthrottleobsessions5 жыл бұрын
If you put in a 6s system i think it would hydroplane without a problem, i would however use some paddle tires
@fullthrottleobsessions5 жыл бұрын
@@vwoffroad5101 Its probably better to gear it a little higher, out of the box i know the pinion is 14t, i put in an 18t pinion once i added this 6s system and think it wouldn't have any issues with hydroplaning 10 or passably even 20 feet judging by the speed of the truck alone
@vwoffroad51015 жыл бұрын
