Extreme Restoration With Unbelievable Result!

I’m restoring a Seiko dress watch with a date indicator from the 1970s. The reference number is 7005-2000.
The watch is severely damaged. A lot of parts are missing.
I bought the watch on eBay long ago for parts and have never opened it before.
I thought it is maybe possible to give it a second life. So here we are. Let's see what we can do.

I really enjoy your videos and I’m amazed you can put it all back together. That you can do it in about an hour is really cool! All jokes aside, how long does it take for you to disassemble, clean and reassemble a watch?

Disassemble and reassemble an standard automatic movement is 20 - 30 minutes. Automatic cleaning procedure is one hour. Not including any work on case or bracelet. Making a video with good view on what I do is totally different story. It take me at least a couple of days. Different camera setup in different locations. Thank you for watching and kind words ☺️
