EXTREME: Rise, House of Blues, Houston, TX 02/20/2024

All "Rise" for the greatest guitar solo of the 21st century!! Nuno Bettencourt has been doing amazing solo's throughout his whole career since the late 1900's, so it's no coincidence that he's just continuing to do what he does best and that's giving the best heart driven, melodic, and awe inspiring guitar solos even at his young at heart age of 57 at the time of this posting as the band concluded their first ever performance inside Houston's House of Blues as they returned to the Space City for the first time in over 10 years!!!

Extreme is the one of the op ten UNDERRATED bands ever! Nuno should remake Crossroads as the Headcutter - But end in a tie!

They've been doing it since 1988!!! They can run circles around bands over half their age!! Gary has sung for Van Halen(and did a great job) and Nuno has toured as Rihanna's lead guitarist for about 5 or so years.

Have you heard Pornograffitti, III Sided to every story, and their latest-- "Six"???? I don't know what kind of music you were raised on, and you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but EXTREME has NEVER released any garbage! If you want to witness garbage then maybe you should view those Grammy and AMA award shows!

I was raised on the good music of the 60s 70s and 80s. Mostly pretty heavy - Sabbath, Zeppelin etc to much broader post punk bands. I'm straight up and I just can't believe the hype surrounding these posers@@AdamesConcertTherapy

I'm 54 years old, and too was raised on the music of the 50's, 60's, 70's & the great 80's! Elvis, Ritchie Valens, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Beatles, KISS, Van Halen, Prince, etc. Punk did nothing for me, because for me, Melody is everything and those are usually the bands I connect with-- who exude melody in their music! Nuno, who is 57, is no poser and neither are the rest of the band members from EXTREME, They carry their influences on their sleeves, like Van Halen, QUEEN, etc. and pretty much the same music we grew up on and they made their own recipe from their influences, pretty much just like every other band before them who were influenced by the generation before them, so I wouldn't accuse Led Zep or the Stones of being posers for being influenced by Chuck Berry. Fraid I can't see your point. I've watched as much Extreme as I can bear here on KZbin and nothing has changed my mind. I've seen many better bands down my local pub free of charge@@AdamesConcertTherapy
