Extreme Rock Hopping Spearfishing

James Sakker is out diving huge seas and crazy weather to secure a few fish to eat. Chris Joins in on one dive. James shoots a good cobia off a bull shark only to have the shark pull the spear out of the cobia with its tail.

Yeah mate best vis yesterday for ages got a 15 kg Spanish and 1.5kg Moses perch. Saw Jew but small Samson and even a barracuda. If you’re line fishing get out in 25 metres my mate smashed the mackerel yesterday

Yeah there not usually that silly!! As far as eating I love the Spanish especially smoked then the Samson fish and last would be the cobia mainly because they can vary so much in taste and texture. When they are good they are nice but when not they are horrible. I have been eating smoked Spanish pasta for two weeks now

Interesting with the cobia, guess it makes sense depending on what the'yre hanging out with? Reckon there are worse things to subsist on than smoked Spanish pasta! Sounds like a top feed.

Yesterday was really scary picking up a Spanish in very bad vis with everything feeding and big things crashing around underneath me in the dirt. Shot it and sprinted for the shore

No it’s not an illusion that’s what happens with a 7 mm shaft powered up. If it’s bent it goes off track. Glad you noticed it blew me away when I saw how they move. Thanks for watching and commenting
