NSW the jewfish capital! Incredible fish, I love how broad their shoulders get when they get to that size!

Yeah they have a real presence in the water. Check out the massive school in the next video out today. Fish from 7 metres all the way to 16 metres with some over 30kg

Great video James - the jewies have just arrived back inshore down here this week - the warm water has just arrived. Favourite time of year.

Awesome where are you guys? The Jew definitely start later the further south you are port Stephens was always best in March where they are gone here. In terms of spawning aggregations

@@jamessakker2117 - We're based in Lake Macquarie. The Hunter river provides quality jewies year round down here, but I prefer them off the beach as they taste better.

I hear the best place to catch a big jew is the tunnels in NYC

Some offshore stuff would be cool, like wahoo, dolphin fish and blue water Spanish.

Thanks mate not easy for me with a small boat. Appreciate you taking the time to comment

Very nice. Wet up here now so no chance. Keen as to get out and find the black version. Cape Palmo might be worth a trip.

Awesome mate! Do you find any of these spots shore diving or are they spots you've sounded up? Im in north Queensland (Townsville) n jealous of the shore dives you can do down there!
@jamessakker21176 ай бұрын
Most of my Jew spots are shore diving spots. Unlike black Jew our Jew hate boat noise and especially anchors and chain. When boat diving for them we will anchor 100 meters away. I do heaps of shore diving and use landmarks to go back to the same spots. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I love diving the tropics especially Bowen where you can shore dive even though most of it is out of the boat

Love your content mate, been watching for a long time. Mate I'm up to my 110th hour looking for jew on the central coast. About to move to grafton so my efforts continue east of my new address 😂
@jamessakker21176 ай бұрын
Thanks very much glad you enjoy it!! You will get a lot more chances up here than the central coast for sure!! Plus you can chase the Spanish cobia and great reef fish. If you haven’t already check out my how to spear Jewfish video it will help you. Good luck and let me know when you get your first one
