Beautiful. You should add an electric fireplace across from the bed and mount a TV above..if you watch TV in bed. You could create a cover for the tv.....which I know you can do. Saw someone create one that slides over the top with a beautiful picture on front. It looked amazing and you didn't know there was a tv.

I love what you did with your room. THANK you for getting rid of all that white. Your wall color looks very similar to the one in my primary bedroom, which is "Porpoise" by Sherwin Williams (color 7047). I've had it up for nearly 8 years and LOVE it. I contrasted with floor to ceiling white curtains (from Ikea) to cover a pair of "ranch" style windows that meet across two sides of my bedroom in one corner. The curtains are the perfect foil to the moody colored walls. I change out my duvet and pillow covers seasonally and I will switch out rugs under the bed 2 or 3 times a year. The furniture is old, French Provincial (!?) and the traditional "cherry" finish, ranging from 20 to nearly 50 years old. But I love it, and that's what counts, after all. My bedroom - as yours - is for each of us as individuals, and when we love them and they are a comforting and safe sanctuary that we can retreat to as needed, that's a mighty big plus in today's hectic and often cray cray world.
