I’d guess it’s because the back of the rug doesn’t hold onto the dirt as much because of its smoother surface and dirt can’t get packed into the fibers of the back.

I know you’re not asking for advice, but this is the internet so :/ . I love so many of your videos. I’ve noticed that like many channels, your views are lower than they were. I think that’s mostly KZbin nonsense, but I have to say, when a thumbnail tells me there’s maggots, or a booger like substance, or shows me insects and other viscerally disgusting things, I don’t click. I only clicked this one to say this bc idk, maybe you’re aiming for the people who love to watch gross things, but I feel you’re losing a good deal of your audience this way.
