@@yearight5303 You didn't understand my point of view. I work 8 hours a day, but if one works 12 hours a day FOR YEARS (like 15/25), the body will suffer and all the money you have earned will go into treatment, if it can be done. I don't know if you have any idea what it's like to work 12 hours a day, every day for 20 years. The body does not hold up to these rhythms, you will probably have heart complications, or more or less serious things. I fell on the floor and couldn’t move due to the pain. I lived alone and couldn’t reach my phone. I thought “well, if I don’t show up for work in the morning or my folks don’t hear from me within a day, someone will come check on me. I just had my slipped disc surgery. It was a huge bulging disc between my L4&L5. It compressed on the nerve running down my left leg and I swear it was so painful. I wanted to cry every morning. I tried to ignore the pain for 1 year, until I couldn't anymore. If I had taken action earlier, maybe I didn't have to go for the surgery. Would've opted for chiro instead. Also, ate more healthy to lose weight because I weighted 268 at the beginning of this now at 220 so it helps put less strain. Also, forced myself to walk outside for 1 hour everyday to get exercise, natural vitamin D and natural inflammatory responses in my body. Now the walks are better but still have pain but not like before. Last things is drink a lot of water, stay away from junk and fast foods, try to in take more bone broth, eat nothing inflammatory, and my favorite is make a drink of strawberries, blueberries, two bananas, raspberries, and two t-spoons of Sea Moss(look it up). I feel for this guy and all of you in the comments. Currently dealing with a bulge/herniation of L4 & L5 sawing into my sciatic nerve. Right leg, calf & those same 4 toes are tingly and numb. I'm still able to walk, but with a limp for about 20 - 30 meters before I MUST sit down as it becomes unbearably painful. Sitting oddly enough, relieves most of the sciatic pain. I had an epidural injection which did nothing for me. No pain relief at all. Next up will be an MRI & hopefully not surgery.

I have experienced this. It started as a normal back pain due to gym related injuury. Then it got worsen due to possible that i have somehow lifted or made a delicate movement. Then i came to the point where in i was not able to stand or sit for a long period of time as it feel like i am cramping to the butt down to my right leg. I got an mri and i have an l5 disc extrusion to the right. My doctor just prescribed me something that calms or protect the nerve or something. Since they do not want a surgery as an option. I’ve been on 2 weeks of bed rest and happy to say that i was able to stand and sit for a long period of time. Pain is still there but it is much tolerable. From 10 it goes down to 6. My advise would be for you to take a bed rest. This happen since we have aggravted the nerves. I also lost 8kg in 1 week. And this may also a factor to minimize a pressure on my disc. I am also taking vitamin D everyday and drinking anlene. Be brave! We can do this!

It hurts terribly when it happens the first time. At the first time you think, you will never go again. And later one has to learn how to walk again. And to learn how to avoid your pain again. Just some ways to lay, just some ways to sit, just some activities you may do safety. Just a little mistake, and it happens again.

Same here got really bad the sciatica was out of this world!!! even on the highest dose of morphine and other hardcore drugs then my disk exploded and I got caude equinea syndrome 😬 had emergency surgery and rehab for two years thank god I can still walk _even though my left leg drags a bit, I've got nerve damage but when my sciatica hits for a bit I feel like I'm being electrocuted, omg it's so bad, but I am very grateful I don't have it all the time anymore two years is quite enough!! Sad about the nerve damage but it is what it is and I'm not paralysed _ partly due to really pushing myself in rehab _so don't quit if that's what your going through right now, don't quit!!

I would get searing muscle spasms that would being me to the floor to get any release, multiple times a day. I'm finally getting MRI's done now hopefully figuring out a solution.

Honestly that was my entire thought process until I saw Dr.Suh. If you place close attention to what Dr.suh was ssying youll hear him point out that the reason I couldnt walk wasn't due to the L5 herniation. In fact it was my lower pelvic out of place causing severe pain in my right hips. He Identified this by checking my foot and he noticed that the toes that were numb where my outter toes and not my big

Having 6 Lumbar vertebra can be a precursor for spine problems. He has two discs that are not normal. In this type of MRI disc's should be solid white. He does have Modic changes on his vertebral edges. The superior part of his vertebra appears like a shallow bowl, the inferior part underneath appears concave. In my experience these changes can be due to chronic inflammatory changes. Has he been worked up for autoimmune arthritic conditions? He is a younger man, spine problems can exacerbate over many years causing permanent changes.

Been to a few and had lots of injuries. Along with good and bad attention from pts so somehow I keep going to a degree. Pilates machine and pelvic health pt fixed almost everything while doing stuff then got out of whack must not be balanced when doing certain movements i never got resolved yet that cause the sciatica. Ifci swim with fins like snorkeling i can handle it the best . No closed toe shoes for me only Birkenstock comfort type. It made my feet stronger but it all goes away if you don’t continue

My left leg is continuously sore from my buttock to my ankle. I have numb feeling from my knee to my toes. Had phyios therapy, saw a chiropractor, did acupuncture and none of it worked. Got two cortisone injections done which didnt help for very long. On strong pain medication and still unable to stand , sit and walk for long. I tell you nothing helped! Cortisone shot was painful. @@jareds.6444 hey I'm doing better now! A week after my microdisectomy surgery I had throbbing and spams in my leg and then it disappeared. Other than the tightness in my leg I feel amazing. I do recommend walking a lot and stretching when safe too ,they gave me 6 weeks off work so I used that to walk a lot and now I use light weights to strengthen my leg and back. I'm back at work now and the gym but I be very careful with what I'm lifting as I can feel it in my back sometimes so you have to be careful how you move.
