wow, you have very little scarring in the donor area. Do you know what size of the punch that was used? You have probably said this but what clinic did you go to? New to your channel so I have probably missed it.
@steviem5279 Жыл бұрын
Couple of things: first, you hair looks great without the fibers in it. Maybe it was the lighting, I don't know, but you don't need the fibers. Second, for someone with fine and thin hair, your hair transplant has turned out great and it gives me hope that I could have similar results when I do get my hair transplant and last, your FUE scars are barely noticeable, you can see them faintly is some spots but that's because I was looking for them but for the most part, you can hardly see them and that's a great thing.

When his hair is wet you can really see how bad his diffuse thinning is, it’s sad I think he kids himself that his hair is alright but I think he’s had a bad hair transplant! I myself have had three transplants over many years and I think I know a little bit more than a lot of people on here commenting on his hair transplant! I think personally in years to come he’s going to regret all of this!

@@christianblake3997 I don't know that he'll regret it because he talks openly about not expecting to have hair for life and that it's part of an overall strategy. I developed scalp dermatitis which the DR. reckons was due to insufficient frictional cleaning as i was being very gentle with the shampooing post HT. I was given Nizoral and Dermovate to treat this. After using the treatment for 7 days the scalp is clean of any flakes. However alot of transplanted hair from fell off trapped with the dead skin. Would they grow back im really worried because i had good results until the dermatitis. Any help would be extremely appreciated :)

Hi Matt, thank you for sharing your hair transplant journey with us. Your results look great! I have a suggestion that I hope you'll consider. I think it would be worth looking into getting another hair transplant to create a slight advancement in the center. Even a small number of additional hairs could make a big difference in the overall look. Just my two cents, but keep up the great work!

Hi Matt. Thanks for sharing your journey and being so superfine to the community. I was wondering if HTs are a slippery slop, which never ends? Will the trnasplanted grafts eventually event despite medication?
@Rumblingbelly Жыл бұрын
I think its always an uncertain road. There are many videos in youtube where guys look great for 1-2 years after HT and then look thin again. Its a big risk because you can never know long term results like after 10 years. Will you need 2 or 3 HT and will you run out of grafts? All question marks.
@matthewcochran94 Жыл бұрын
The grafts extracted are usually dht resistant and won’t fall out overtime but keeping treatment up is important to preserve non-transplanted hair
@JayJay-pj3ob Жыл бұрын
the fade is fresh he did good on the cut and ur donor looks good but damn ur top is super thin for 3 transplants but than again u hardly had any hair prior to first transplant so where u at now is a blessing
@achyutbanerjee670 Жыл бұрын
Actually, that's how most hair transplants (>grade 3) look when the hair is wet. Real density shows up. Hair transplants are just an illusion with 50-60% max of the original density. So when the scalp is wet, it would obviously look thin. That's the sad part.
@steviem5279 Жыл бұрын
I think the top looks great but at the same time, even with 5,000 grafts, someone with thin and fine hair will never get the results and coverage as someone with thicker hair and the same amount of grafts.

What do you think about progesterone as a topical treatment against hair loss? There is this study from 1991, showing that topical progesterone therapy significantly inhibited 5α-reductase (in vitro). In high concentrations progesterone inhibited DHT synthesis by 97%... Even if progesterone has similar side effects as finasteride, by applying it topically, they would be less significant...? (I know there is topical finasteride, it's just that it's extremely expensive in my country)

Yeah man I need to order the fibres. At age 43 my hair has started to thinned so much at the front scalp and def due to using essentials oils. I had very thick hair at the front so it’s come as a surprise. Worst is when the light shines on the scalp. I now take SAW palmetto to block the DHT. So much effort to keep hair not easy lads. Am planning to go eugenics. they have best transplants seen people who had thinned hair and their hair become so thick after transplant depends on clinic. Been to a Dermotologist they saying you don’t have a typical male pattern boldness but my dad is bold so def I believe they got that wrong.

@Mattdominace Great and fashion style Matt! Your donor area looks briliant and clean. Nobody could think You got 3 ht! One question, Did Dr Mwamba handle your first line during your latest procedure?
@hyperpedro2868 Жыл бұрын
Clean result mate. Honestly, it is really hard to know you got an hair transplant if someone is not familiar with hair transplant. Sometimes we become a bit too critical after a HT because we see the imperfections by watching ourselves everyday in the mirror after the HT. Mostly people who got HT themselves will notice something by watching carefully but common people have no clue is the work has been decent. Anyway girls don't see the magic trick and it is the most important part. :) Happy with the eyes of the ladies after my 7 months HT. FUE beats FUT in the long run if the doctor has done a good job with the extraction. Kind of sucks to see guys shaving their head after a FUT. Seems BHT could an option for you also.

You don't need any fibers or products. Just a good shampoo, hair serum, and blow dry will look more natural.
@naverich4603 Жыл бұрын
I have no idea where those 5000 grafts went...not only does his donor area look way better than donor areas of people that got 5000 grafts but also his recipient area looks like there's way fewer hair than there should be after 5000 grafts. I think that he was either told the wrong number or his hair is extremely fine. Just look at doctors like Bloxham in NYC and his work. He can make even 3000 grafts make look way better. If the problem is the fine hair then FUT from doctors like Bloxham would definitely save Matt even more grafts for the future. And I personally would rather have one scar on my head that can be cover with 100 FUE grafts than have thousands of small scars all over my donor. Beard looks sick though...I'm kind of envious with my patches. Considering beard transplant too.

I dunno man, the skin fade is still a very popular style from what I've seen in the UK. Mullet seems to be the flavour of the month but even guys rocking the mullet usually have a burst skin fade. High and tight/skin fade is a timeless classic look, it'll never go out of fashion.
@thehitman1980 Жыл бұрын
@@M4rkM93 skin fades only came back in round about 2012, before that the last time they were in fashion was the 1930's. Most mens haircuts stay in fashion for 5 years before they look outdated and go back out of fashion, the skin fade has been around this time for 10 years so it's long overdue and going out of fashion rapidly. It will never be considered a timeless classic cut because it went away for almost a hundred years before it came back in ten years ago

Matt seriously you an athletic man with a good head shape. I'm really sorry to say this, but your hair just doesn't look good. The hairline looks very fake and your hair is just way too thin, you can see the whole scalp. In addition, your donor area is extremely damaged. And to maintain this hair status you use hormones daily which give you side effects (which you talked about in your video about). Leave all these hormones, shavee it off and you will be much happier with this decision.
