If you still want children, do not take Finasterid! If you don't want that your BREAST may be growing like a womans breats, don't take Finasterid! If you have pets, don't take minoxidil, it kills cats! wait until you are 40, and than do a hairtransplant if possible. If you have NW6 or 7, be fine without any hair. I am 32 now with NW 3 vertex. I will wait another 8 years doing nothing. When I am 40 I will look at my hair and THEN I maby do a hairtransplant Don't take Finasterid because some KZbin or Instagram dudes tell you. The side effect can last as long as 10 YEARS after not taking Finasterid anymore. Think well about what you are doing guys. It is not worth it!

Your scalp only absorbs about 75% of it topically so you don’t get the fool percentage and 75% is pushing it if you’re lucky

I actually do both topical and tablets for tablets I have 5mg but I cut it in half to get 2.5mg and take it once every 5 days if you were to calculate that how much mg that is in a week. easy 2.5mg÷5=0.5mg×7 =3.5mg so that's me for tablets as for topical solution basically the 1ml 0.025% (1ml 0.25mg) or sometimes 0.033% (0.33mg) and inbetween. I use that twice morning and night so thats 2ml = 0.5mg or 0.66 daily so basically in a week 2ml 0.5 or 0.66 topical x7 =3.5mg or 4.62mg + the tablet 3.5mg I'm hitting the hims/keeps standard of 7mg a week (8.12 for the 0.66mg) but better because Im covering both inside and out on my scalp this could be a good solution but takes a lot of calculating. But worked out for me. And by the way I also take 2.5 minoxidil tablets daily as part of the routine

I had limp thin hair at 16 that was thinning even more at the sides where you could literally see the scalp if you touched it, and eating processed foods on top of that. after finding Dr Bergs videos it’s definitely back to normal with no signs of balding even at the sides. Just my take on this.

Good combo. If you add 10 ml of Essengen F (20mg finasteride) to 70 ml of Stemoxydine you get about 0,25mg (0.025%) finasteride for every 1 ml application. (total solution 80 ml ... 1ml (0.25mg) topically a day is ok for most).

A mature+conservative 1600-1700 in Turkey....bruh get real 😂😂😂 They unplugged him and his buddy for 4K grafts forrsure. His buddy (Iain Valliere) had it done @ same time and specified they took 2800 "Sapphire" for his hairline & 1200 "DHI" via crown...which when pics where shown, also kinda went into mid-scalp. When comparing CB's to Iain, Iain was way better off and they took 4K grafts from that dude. Turkey ALWAYS does this BS!

I did my hair transplant three years ago. I never took fini and min after hair transplant. Now, I also don't take any kind of medicine for hair. Alhamdulillah, my hair condition is becoming better day by day. My decision is that I shall never take finisteride and minoxidil because after a long time hair depends on them and the medicines don't work.

Such good advice but most people continue to discount, can’t understand why so many reviews talk about the hotel, breakfast and clinic hours / days after a transplant ignoring the most important aspect - the OUTCOME in 12 months time! 😂

Matt, are you sure it;s 4-6% every 5 years? I looked for the full study but I could only find the abstract, which is not clear on whether they measured every 5 years or after the first 5 years, or whether they looked at the original donor hair or transplanted recipient hair (important to infer the effect recipient dominance). Have you managed to review the entire thing? Also, you said it'll take decades to get to a 50% density decrease, which would be visually evident. But that applies to the original density, not the transplanted density which is always lower. What do you think?
@letsgethair
@letsgethair 4 күн бұрын
Can’t see the whole study either because you have to be a doctor and ISHRS member simultaneously. But they say “statistically significant decrease of 4-6% over five years.” This is unlikely to mean “no decrease over another 5 or even 20 years.” I think it sound better to write 4-6% in 5 years than 8-12% in 10 years, but I might be wrong on this one. I will hopefully be able to meet dr Pathomvanich next month, who helped conduct this study. Will ask him. But even 8-12% over 10 years wouldn’t be too bad as it would take 50 years to lose 50% of your transplant.

Those who get good results from hair transplantation and take finasteride for long time, will the hairs become addicted to it later? i mean transplanted hairs are more resistant to falling out, by taking finasteride they become dependent on finasteride and when we stop using finasteride they fall out very quickly!
