~Extreme Slums In Bangkok, Thailand~
This wasn't the first time seen slums or extreme poverty, but definitely the first time walking through them and interacting with the local people.
I did notice that some of these people did not seem like they were struggling at all, in fact some of them seemed genuinely satisfied with their way of life. But a large portion of the population are barely surviving and they don't really have a choice but to suffer through it. After 6 months in the country I saw some pretty brutal living conditions. One thing I noticed was there were several different levels of poverty, but unlike the United States and lots of other developed countries, the people who are being "poor" does not mean you get free, money, healthcare, food, and anything else you need from the government, lol. Here its more like -struggling to find food to eat or water with out parasites. there isn't too much gang violence or drive-by, shootings, instead they are are fighting disease, and dehydration.
The goal of the trip wasn’t necessarily to try and find the most extreme slums in the country but instead to explore and experience as much as I could for while still building the KZbin Channel! Thank you for all the engagement guys! after all that is the reason the videos keep coming! Lots of adventures in the books!
~ stay tuned for what’s coming next!!!🙏🌏🌍🌎

Absolutely it’s probably one of the safest places in the world. Anywhere in Thailand is safe. Nobody steals and nobody is going to cause a fight or try to rob you or engage in any violent crimes at all especially not with a tourist. Obviously there’s organized crime, but very little street crime or gang activity.

I think the govt have been trying to close down the slums for years by offering them better housing with minimum plans, etc. But there are still some who refused to relocate. There is also a continuous project by the gov't to build permanent housing for those families who have houses on stilts built into the canals and relocate them up into the land above to clear the water ways.

Oh by the way congrats on finally launching that new channel! You sound pretty solid on camera. Most people can’t speak that well like you do on one of the videos I saw. I think it was your very first one also .. and I was like fuck. Did you script all that and then rehearse it like 30 times? Most people can’t speak that smooth in front of a camera. Anyways if you ever have questions just shoot me a message. I made so many crucial mistakes starting out that I wish I knew back then. and everybody says the same thing as you… They’re like damn this looks really professional and wow what an awesome video. but I screwed up in the beginning a lot on so many different things that Channel never really gained any momentum with the views. You’re in a completely different niche so I probably wouldn’t have too much insight with that but everybody who has been really successful on KZbin and makes videos about tips, all of The guys say from now and title is what you should think about first before you even make the video because those are the most important things especially thumbnail and then compare it to all the other thumbnails on the top search results and try to make it more catchy and more attractive or clickable then The biggest channels. Also remember some people start a channel and get monetized organically after only one or two months and then hit 100 K subs a month or so after that. There’s been a few people that have hit the 1 million sub mark in under a year. And most people say one upload week it’s about the sweet spot. And then once you’re monetized and you have a bigger following with obvious momentum growing then maybe to upload the week. By the way ever since I started doing shorts like you were saying I would get like at least 100 new subs per week if I posted one short every day or every other day. I think my best one got 69,000 views and it was like a four second video of some street food or something like that and then ended up getting 50+ new subs from one short. I hear you should utilize every feature of the platform offers similar to other social media. Like one upload per week, one photo post with description per week , One live stream per week, and 2 to 3 shorts per week. That should blow up the channel really fast. depending on how much demand there is in your niche.

@Travel_fulltime
@Travel_fulltime 2 жыл бұрын
@@JayDKBGames No not at all! but I understand what you mean. There are certain things that you would get a warning for from KZbin and possibly banned from the platform but those type of things are like any type of child pornography or partial child nudity even if it’s a young teenager with his shirt off and you’re filming a Travel video that could possibly be against the terms and conditions of KZbin. As far as I know that sort of stuff is probably the number one thing to be careful with. There was a clip I really want to use in one of my videos of some Vietnamese children playing in the street to showcase the culture and way of life in the countryside of Vietnam. But I don’t think I will use that video clip because there is a chance KZbin will say I violated their terms and conditions if they consider that child nudity. And it’s possible KZbin would shut down my account. There’s many other things that could be violations but I would have to review the information again to be sure. Certain types of government related things could be be risky. Oh yea of course any type of nudity. I’m certain criminal activity could be a violation. And I’m sure countless other things also but 90% of it is kind of common sense. Anyways I assume that’s what you’re talking about getting in trouble with KZbin. I don’t see any possible way you could get in trouble with the Thailand government or anything like that. Lots of other people do these types of travel videos where they try to find the most extreme places with the worst poverty that exists. And I think it’s very rare it would be misconstrued into portraying a negative image about the peoples culture. I feel like most people will just see it as an honest blog or documentary on your experience showing the good and the bad without any biased opinions. At least that’s the goal for all of my videos , I want everybody to see things how they actually are. Of course the entire country doesn’t look like that but the objective is to give people just a small reality check for those that are uneducated on poverty in Third World countries. most of the viewers will be searching this type of Contant because they are familiar with these parts of the world and they enjoy seeing the way of life in the harsh conditions like this but hopefully I can also spread some awareness do those who are extremely privileged and take it for granted. Anyways I hope you like the video and thank you for the comment. I have many more videos on the way!

Thailand has the largest income disparity of anywhere in the world, most people are relatively poor, and the wealthy are abnormally rich.

Its a bit contradictory to say conditions have improved dramatically and then blame corporations for the current lower levels of poverty.
@Travel_fulltime
@Travel_fulltime Жыл бұрын
Lol corporations are the reason for the decrease in poverty. I don’t see anything contradicting at all. It’s pretty black-and-white. But clearly the system will not work if everybody divides up their chips evenly while we all sing Kumbaya. Lol. Your not really making any clear point sounds like you just wanted to be a part of the conversation. Anyways if the corporations decided to they could basically abolish this type of extreme poverty of living conditions but quality of life, for their people isn’t exactly the priority. I’m going to guess profits are first. It’s the same show with different actors bud.

Slums in provinces are much worse. And they are not even overpopulated. In Metro Manila its understandable to have slum area since many people from the province go to Manila and they become squatters and homeless.
