heavy fat is not necessarily correct, where I get my doner and get this, in the car mechanics area of town, tastes beyond this planet and has almost no visible fat. I hate fat. mmm.. You are right though about daily intake, I order the smallest possible portion once in fortnight. Which is about less than half the size of a big mac meal.

The first döner place is in Beşiktaş, KARADENİZ DÖNER: This established restaurant is known for its good quality döner, but be aware they can run out quickly. There might be a line, but it usually moves fast. DOĞU KARADENİZ PİDE & DÖNER: Located in the same area, this restaurant is another solid choice for döner. But I would recommend getting one of the Pide options or Lahmacun. Bonus: There's also a well-regarded pickle shop about 50 meters up the street from DOĞU KARADENİZ PİDE & DÖNER, on the left side. Their pickles and pickle juice are worth trying if you enjoy them.

my friend this is not a sandwich, this a step or 2 steps up from sandwich ) . I had awesome sandwiches as a kid 40 years ago here in turkey but that's not the case anymore our sandwiches taste like grass now. But doner is second to none. We are talking about awesome tasting shredded lamb and just bread with a little chopped onion if you like. This has no competition.
