A 2 door extended cab Jeep is probably the only thing that could really pull me away from the full sized 4 door Jeep. The rig at the end is pretty close, but I'd need there to be somewhat of a back seat for my dogs, storage, passengers if I need, and of course storage under/inside of them. My biggest issue currently is that any build like this costs MORE because it has to be custom, and I haven't ever seen the extended cabs cost more than the 4 door trucks. Oh, definitely assuming a full side bed length too. A Jeep like this has so much potential for me, and will maintain the looks and feeling I love so much.

Nearby Jeep dealership recently received and sold a couple Gladiators, which I got to inspect up close and personal, plus sit in, before some lucky buyers took them home. Very tempting to have taken one home, myself. They're expecting another Rubicon Gladiator come June. Hope I can resist the temptation and maintain my fiscal sanity. Thoroughly enjoyed your vid. Thanks.

Very nice review. The over-landing lifestyle is interesting to me, but probably not something I'll do myself. We saw a number of R-Pod campers during Easter Jeep Safari and they have a model I think I can sell my wife on. Most likely as we get a little closer to retirement with a Gladiator in our driveway. I've been watching the Dynatrac two door Hellcat Gladiator build on Wayalife's KZbin channel. It looks awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing video of it out on the trail. Speaking of Dynatrac, it was very cool that Jim donated a complete Dynatrac 44 differential for the Friday evening drawing at EJS. Brad, thanks again for what you do. Safe Travels and God Bless!

Here in the UK since they stopped making the Land Rover Defender the prices have gone through the roof hopefully now the new one is out the price of the older models will come back down . They are not making a commercial model or work truck as you say in the USA think that is a mistake company's who have run Land Rovers for years are turning to Toyota Hi Lux or Ford Ranger . An extra 100 miles on a charge versus a tank of gas. It takes five minutes to fill your tank, get munchies and be back on the trail. How long does it take to recharge the battery? And can you charge that battery in Elk City Idaho?
@toddhoffmaster60575 жыл бұрын
Exactly, that is why there should be a 200 watt solar panel on the roof top or turn the tonneau cover into a solar panel to help charge up the batteries while driving.

I saw your comments on the new Jeep Gladiator... We are about to get the Gladiator here in Australia & i think it is going to fail badly. I don't know how anyone is going to be able to set one up for Touring/Overlanding when it can barely carry 4 People and their luggage for a weekend away. Only has a 620kg or 1364lb #Payload. Which means this............................. # Payload is the maximum combined value of occupants, cargo, added options, added structures and tow ball download (when towing). The GVM must not be exceeded. The Gross Combined Mass (the combined weight of the fully loaded vehicle including tow ball download (when towing) and trailer must also not be exceeded. Please see Buyers Guide for vehicle specifications............... You fit a Front Bar, Winch, Sliders and Rear Bar and 4 pewople and it's at it's weight capacity!!!!! So bad!

I'm not going to be climbing hills at 60 m.p.h., but on a sandy road where a jeep or Toyota can hit 40 -45 m.p.h. i'd get so far left behind... then i would also need another truck and trailer for the highway.
