Just got to the bit where you do your daughters’ room. Most of the time I had to do my own room but every now and again I’d come home from school and my mum would have done it for me and I always loved that. She did so much for me already but that extra occasional gesture just made me feel so loved

I just brought my baby home 1.5 weeks ago (emergency C-section) so took me a bit to get moving but now I’m getting into a routine. The best part is for our shower gift my mother in law gifted us a house cleaner once a month for a year! So I just have to keep up laundry and decluttering and the cleaner does all the rest. It’s the greatest gift ever w a new baby!

Don’t get me wrong I love a good cleaning video I gave it a thumbs up!:) I mean this with the utmost respect ✊ but if your baby is 2 weeks old you need to relax! Don’t worry to much about cleaning just keep it tidy and try to relax as much as possible! Trust me I’m on my 5th baby and I learned the hard way. It’s okay to have a messy house when you have a newborn 👶🏽💐

I watch videos on mute, so you may have already mentioned this, but this video shows how incredibly important good organizational systems are. If there is a place for everything it is a quick job to put things back in order and a lot less stress on Mom. Love your home! Great video.

Yes girl my mom taught me a while ago about the trash bag thing! She also told me about keeping cleaning supplies on both floors of the house & empty the dishwasher every morning so people (even kids!) can put their own dirty dishes away throughout the day.

Found your videos over the weekend from your kitchen renovation and been going through loads of them, really enjoying them. You have a beautiful family and a real flair for decorating. Re the stainless steel, after cleaning it, buff it out with a little Baby Oil. Really shines it up - chefs in industrial kitchens even swear by that stuff.

Aww congrats!! Shes so precious! And you are one super mama! For anyone else reading this postpartum or near having your babe, don't worry if 2 weeks after having the baby, your postpartum looks a lot different. Rest, relax, bond, cleaning can come later. I know with my first, my delivery was tough and I was not able to do anything like this for at least a month and a half, and that's okay too. With my 2nd I was feeling much better much sooner and able to do and clean more, but luckily my husband helped with the cleaning, cooking, etc so I could focus on our newborn. I know some cultures do a 40 days rest and recovery period where mama just rests and cares for baby and herself. All of this to say, that it's okay if your postpartum experience doesn't look like this and you can't even think about putting jeans on and cleaning house two weeks after having your baby. And if you can, and want to, then all the power to you mama. Mama's are amazing. ❤

Congratulations on your new beautiful baby girl. Just finished watching your video here in Australia, my husband is a chef and he works in an industrial kitchen with all stainless steel . I have worked as a kitchen hand in the past and we only ever cleaned with hot soapy water then polished with cooking oil spray and clean cloth or paper towels. Any oil will polish stainless steel and save alot of money on special cleaners. Love your channel. ❤

Hi Carissa many congratulations to you, your baby daughter is beautiful and you look so well. A tip I picked up for stainless steel is to put a few drops of baby oil on a paper towel and rub that into the appliances. In the UK we have Johnsons baby oil so not sure if you have the same or an equivalent. Keep up the good work you are doing an amazing job. Best wishes Sarah x

Hi😊 I once saw a tiktok where they used olive oil on stainless steel and now I‘m using it all the time. I first clean it with all purpus spray and then just polish it with some olive oil (guess other oils would be fine too) and a tissue. It works wonders, all stains are gone and it shines beautifull. Greetings from Germany 😊

I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful home and family. Regarding your sink, another YT mom uses "The Pink Stuff," on hers and Yes! The trash bag idea is GENIUS! I put the entire box inside the can and just switch out as needed.

According to my research, looks like using straight vinegar on stainless steel is the best cleaner! Just spray it on, wipe dry with a soft cloth and then spray water on the surface and wipe dry with another towel. Takes off grease, and is a super cheap and effective way to clean :) Thanks for giving me the motivation to clean my house! Currently in my 3rd trimester and needing motivation to get this house super clean before baby comes.

Such a cute baby! For my stainless steel appliances, I have for years made a dyi with water and rubbing alcohol. I mix half and half, spray and wipe with a microfibre cloth. I find actual stainless steel cleaners are too oily and fingerprints are always a problem. I work in a hospital and the housekeepers always put 2 extra bags in the bottom of all the garbage cans. That way, we can change the garbage without having to go looking for the housekeeping staff😊

Love 💕 your channel! I use microfiber clothes on the stainless steel. Just wet the cloth with water and ring out the excess. You may need to buff out the water spots with a dry cloth. It takes a few cleans to remove all the steel cleaner residue.

Curious to know what rug and black handles you used in the loft/play room! Also so impressed you did this with a newborn. Kudos Mama! 👏 I don't sell this, so it's not a sales pitch, but I do use Norwex products. The window cloth will clean stainless better than ANY cleaner I've found - and just by getting it wet with water! I agree - stainless get prints so fast, so at least with this cloth I can quickly and easily wipe it down every day without any effort. And it's killer for Windows and mirrors too. Seriously can't rave about it enough.
