Nice one. I love getting into the brush or snags. So many fish hide in the trees, although I'm usually after bigger Barramundi and Jungle Perch. Andysfishing

just discovered crappie fishing after living on the west coast my whole life. This was the most informative video I have ever seen. I like how it was stressed to go slow and be calm. There is no way I would have ever tried this without seeing this video. Now I need the ice to thaw and some Roadrunners. Not sure what they are but I will find out. Please give me an idea on tackle used to do this. Were these fly rods? I have plenty of those. Thank you, Mike and Aaron (son in the picture)

Great show surprised you aren't getting snagged up
@ExtremeAnglerTV7 жыл бұрын
we did, but by slowly raising and dropping the baits into and thru the branches we kept the snags to a minimum

I have been fishing in the stumps and brush like that and the stumps produce more for me the brush just kicks my butt. I'll have to try that slow drop and rise. Thanks for the tip.

+Reggie Anglin I would suggest you post a inquiry on www.crappie.com forum and I am sure local anglers in that area will be more than willing to assist you, thx

Nice video, fishing in brush like that does it matter what size rod you use. And what size do recommend ?.
@barrelslime8 жыл бұрын
I use no less than 10' rod sometimes 12 to fish buck brush at Rend. Ck out Grizzly Jig Co. There are a few Brush rods on the market. You need a stiff rod.

There is a place I go for 12 to 13inch Average Black crappie. All the time when I catch them that is how big they are. They slam on Fathead minnows.

Why use such an expensive jig when your putting on a worm? Especially in that thick cover!

thats what they wanted, some flash and smell; Kyle fishes for these bush slabs fulltime, when he says use it, I do.
