First, I removed the third row seat, as well. Most people do. I made a sleeping platform for overlanding/boondocking. My chuckbox is back there, too. I also did the stereo upgrade with the Atoto8. ❤ the backup cam! Added the sunglass clips, one on each visor. My flock of ducks is permanently docked on the dash. I mounted a gun rack in the right rear passenger window to hold my kayak paddles. I just added a dash cam. And put in one of those adjustable extra cup holders in the console. My original shift handle was similar to yours but didn’t have the “Jeep” on top. Instead it just had a plain tin top, and that was torn. The new one is like yours. It is so comfortable in my hand. I’ve actually made more changes to the outside than the inside.

WeatherTech products are really excellent, much better than what seem to be coming standard with new cars now. Worth the price, for sure. All of your mids are outstanding. The Atoto, steering wheel wrap, dash and door panel updates, and the rear ceiling netting are my favorites. But they are all great. And you really do a great job finding deals. Did the same, interior lights, cell mount, arm rest, back ceiling cargo net, & Atoto S8 Premium w/ backup camera (what a pain to run!) all new speakers & a subwoofer. Added the Atoto steering control. Wrapped my steering wheel with black leather & padding & installed fog lights. Will keep working, but will never be as sick & awesome as yours. At some point I will, but I'm currently in the middle of building the rear cargo box and it's really kind of fun. I've never built anything out of wood so it's taking forever and I really don't know what I'm doing, but I like how creative you can be with it. I still have a long way to go with it, but I'm really liking what I have so far. It literally changes everyday because I keep getting new ideas. It's rad. Thanks for always watching, JC.

Should be noted: in the USA - GMRS requires a license from the FCC to transmit. It's $35 and is good for 10 years. Unlike ham radio, you do not have to pass a test to get one, it's simply an online application.

I've been watching since the XB videos. I found that there are people swapping Miata AC vents into their XBs, and some Miata drivers swapping in the AC vents of the jeep commander. So the Scion, Miata, and the Jeep all have the same diameter AC vents.

That would be cool, but it's just one more thing to break. I think Katskiz makes a kit you can have installed if you really want it. You would also have to redo the leather in the seats to allow the air to flow. The project would wind up costing more than your XK is worth. Lol

Hey, I'm just checking to see if you still have the new LOUD exhaust you put on? I bought the same one for my 06 Commander, and it's taking a bit to get used to, I must say, lol! It is so loud but sounds really clean as you speed up fast, but it's taking a bit to get used to! I added a K and N air filter as well and the Hemi engine does seem a little faster with the added air flow and straight 3-inch pipe added! It's peppier off the start, for sure! Keep up the great videos! 👍

Steering wheel would be even more awesome if you had airbag covered in leather with nice stitching, and....change out your shift knob to something much nicer...the plastic chrome is very cheap in commanders. Rig is looking great though.

I agree, however nothing exists for the shift knob and the airbag cover would have to be custom and $$$. Thanks for watching.

@@ExtremeDailyDrivers I'll make my own for the Commander, may hit you up sometime in the future and donate one to you. :) They're not that hard to make if you have a donor piece to work from. The airbag cover wouldn't be that bad money wise...less than the steering wheel cover's total exenses I'm sure.
