So this is about to be fun!! This has to be one of the top home tours on the channel over the past few years! Here we will take a newer look at this wonderful home with some added updates! This prefab house has some of the nicest features you will see in a modular home and very updated!! The manufacturer for this house is All American Homes. The model for this home is the “Alexandria Cape” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,434 square foot on the main level. Let me know what you think about the video! I love the layout of this home. My personal change would be to move the laundry to the garage and turn the utility room into a pantry. Any house that has the potential for 5 bedrooms needs greater food storage.

Love seeing a home without all those dark wood beams and barn doors!! Some people are into that but that is something I do not want to see all the time, don’t care for that. The things I would change is larger master closet and bathroom. I am hooked on the water closet, separate sinks on separate sides and get a huge walk in shower with bench!!! I know there families that need all that space but as for me I need one heck of a master bedroom and bathroom!!!

Hello Chance! Good video as usual. I sorta like the house. But...no pantry, my main grip! And no fireplace. I would put a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. And as I can't climb stairs, we'd have to replace the stairs with an elevator and put emergency steps (like a ladder) down one side of it. The elevator would free up some room so could probably get a coat closet there too. Would put a smaller island in and put wheels on it. I think I would use the Master Bedroom and Bathroom as the guest suite. Then turn the other two guest bedrooms into the Gym. Then one side of the upstairs would be our Master Bedroom and Bathroom, fixed with handicapped tub and shower and everything we would want in our bathroom! The other side of the upstairs would be my Library Music Studio Office Room and a gas/butane fireplace in it. And a half bath beside it. The attached garage we'd build would have a good sized Pantry built-in in it, big enough for a freezer too. Also probably a small storage area. We'd put a porch around most of the place as well; part of it at least would be enclosed to give us a place to enjoy outside without the bugs driving us back inside! Also having an enclosed porch would allow us to heat that area and we could then enjoy the porch in the wintertime too! Ahahaha, dreams!! Hey tell Cullen good luck with the swim lessons! How old is he, if you don't mind telling me. I think you actually said in one of the shows, but I can't remember. He's gonna be a heartbreaker! And I think he's already a ham! Just like his father, maybe? God bless all of you!!

It is FANTASTIC you are getting your son swimming lessons. All kids should be taught to swim. This is a nice place. Personally I'd not need a second floor but I like that roof pitch. Hmm... I would want an attached garage and attic access could be made out there. Use the stairway area that would not be needed in the house for at least a Coat Closet and some storage or pantry. I'd make the foyer area a bit larger into the house.

Put in an elevator or a stairway seat (can't for the life of me remember exactly what they are called right now!). I'd put in an elevator with a ladder going down one side for emergencies (in case electricity went off). I can still use a ladder in an emergency right now. Can't climb without hurting my legs and back, so I avoid steps whenever possible!

@@sharonjames1255 unfortunately neither would work for me. I have a 150lb. Oxygen concentrator that I’m attached to. can’t exactly lift it or carry it around. I’m extremely limited to what I can do or have. Only allowed a 50ft. hose and that actually cuts down on my oxygen level. They really don’t like me to be on that long of one, but the house I have is a very long ranch style. So without a 50ft. hose I can’t get from one side of my house to the other. Life’s a struggle, but you have to deal.

Hi Chance...I remember this house ...it's absolutely ♥️ gorgeous...very light and cozy...the closet under the stairs I would make a basement..put it on a foundation... I would keep the furniture in the living room...laundry room is beautiful..you know when u went into the other bedrooms... they felt homey it because of the curtains on the windows.. the master shower 🚿 is beautiful the tile work is perfect...Hi Cullen Woo Hoo Swimming Lessons...he is getting big Daddy... next thing it will be driving lessons...Be Safe, God Bless....The upstairs a bath 🛁 and 2 bedrooms...game room

Very nice progression in modular homes. I noticed that the way you we manually closed the cabinet doors. Does that mean the builders chose not to install self-closing hardware.? If so, that's smart because it means they cut costs where they could, self-closing hardware ring a non essential. Also here's a suggestion for their next home show: they should go the extra mile on staging the landscaping in front. To me, it looks like an fterthought with just a few fake plants plopped down willy-nilly. Remember that gtever get a second chance to make a good first impression. Sine theeterior can and is seen from every side at the home show I y to all out on staging a beautiful, colorful exterior. You'll really attract attention and blow the competition away. I also say go ahead and raise the rakes the. Maybe the other guys will finally get that mediocre is not okay. Good job! But what the list price and howwvdoes it compare to other with the same sw. footage. Thanks for showing.

Turning the stairs is not simple. You rise with the pitch of the roof. Turning them around there would have to be a dormer added or you'd just walk into the sloped roof. Adding a front porch with a perpendicular roof line, basically a dormer extending out to make a porch, could fix that issue.

Love it as much the 2nd time. I would turn the closet in the utility room into a small pantry unless you can get it a little wider the. Get rid of the dark wood cabinets. Use colors similar to Benjamin Moore white Dove , ballet white ,Swiss coffee, revere pewter. No gold paint . It’s very outdated. Put a traditional shade of hardwood. Large slat blinds on windows to update. Mix antique brass or brushed nickel with the bronze hardware on cabinets & light fixtures. Light colored fans to make the ceilings look taller.
