Looks great from a top angle but from a straight or downward angle the lights don't show good at the bottom right side. I've removed and tried it different ways and nothing helps. Feel like it would be better if the lights were all the way through the strip but other than that it does look very clean and a great addition to my ps5! 9.5/10 won't be disappointed!

So assuming the adhesive wears over time. What happens when you need to clean the fan and also access the m2 SSD slot once it's enabled? Surely taking them off and having to reapply them multiple times will in the end render the adhesive useless therefore after a while they become unusable as they won't stick.

​@@ExtremeRate Can I suggest one more product? In controllers, buth Xbox and PS, clicking the sticks eventually makes them drift. Could you make a product that does the following? When you look at an Xbox Elite controller, at the back, you have a sync button next to the LB button. Could you make a kit that 1. disables stick clicking completely 2. creates two buttons that are like the sync button - one next to LB, one next to RB, but they are raised higher from the surface, and larger. 3. those buttons map directly to the stick click. 4. sync button is moved somewhere else. For example center of the controller, right above USB-C. This would help increase longevity of the controller sticks, and also allow for much more precise application of inputs. For example, in Apex Legends, I use left sick and right stick click for tactical and ultimate abilities. However, now there's a new character called Valkyrie. When I use her tactical ability (left stick click) I also have to aim with the right stick AND move around with the left stick, all at once, in order to aim her ability. That makes her ability very difficult to use. Having two extra separate buttons would make things much simpler for me. Given there are different faceplates and controller colors, I suggest the following colors for this kit: original silver (has to match exactly), white, black, gray, red, green, and the buttons in different colors too. It's probably best if the buttons are not microswitch based, but rubber dome based. Rubber dome switches are much better for this kind of thing, giving a similar feel to the feel of LB and RB, and A B X Y buttons. It would be most amazing if you made a kit for Elite V1, since that's the controller I use myself... I know a lot of Pro's still prefer to use Elite V1 over Elite V2. But if you make a kit for Elite V2 only, then that might just be the reason I'll buy Elite V2. Also, maybe you could make a (separate) kit that replaces LT and RT with rubber domes completely. That would be pretty amazing as well. So, like a hair trigger mod, but instead of continuing to use the hall effect sensors that are normally being used by the Elite controller, use rubber domes. This would completely replace the hall effect sensor sub-assembly with rubber domes. Thanks for listening and enjoy. I love your products and I'm looking forward to what you make next!

​@@ExtremeRate you're welcome! Hey, do you want another suggestion? A lot of people playing crossplay from console want to play with PC players. But then the best way to do voice communications is using Discord. Especially if you're streaming, or playing with streamers yourself. It's difficult to set it up: You need either a headset with two inputs (rare), or you need to set up a mixer, or some people just use two sets of headphones which is very annoying. Using discord when playing xbox or ps is just really difficult. So maybe you could make an addon (compatible with what I described above) which adds a few more things: 1. add a second TRRS jack to connect from your controller to your phone running Discord (or also your PC, it'll work with PC too). This will forward the headset mic from the headset plugged into the controller, to the extra TRRS jack that's being used for discord. Use the same TRRS jack part as used by standard controllers - they are easy to replace, and it's easy to find replacement parts. TRRS jacks often get damaged when pluggin stuff in/out. 2. add a button for push to talk: when you press it, your mic gets output to the trrs jack. when you're not pressing it, it doesn't get output. However, when you do press it, your mic voice gets forwarded to the TRRS jack. 3. Make it possible to turn off push to talk - the button doesn't need to be pressed, voice always goes to TRRS jack. 4. The sound coming from discord (voices of other teammates) that's coming from the phone/pc into the TRRS jack gets mixed in with the controller's normal audio output. You can do it by putting a flex pcb cable between the controller's normal TRRS jack and the pcb. The jack isn't soldered on - it's just press-fit on. So that makes it possible to hijack the audio! 5. Sometimes, when you're playing, and you want to hear footsteps of an enemy, and your teammates are talking, you want to mute them. So have another button that alows you to mute the discord input. It's a toggle button: when you press it once, audio from the extra TRRS input doesn't get sent to the headphones. When you press it again, it gets muted again. 6. Let's talk about buttons placement. In the last mod, I suggested two extra buttons: one close to LB, one close to RB, placed similar as the sync button. Muting the team is fine using the thumb, but push to talk should definitely be available when you have your thumbs on the sticks, your fingers on LB/RB/LT/RT and on the paddles. So the best place to put the extra buttons for voice control would be close to LT and RT. This would make it possible to do all of that at once. You would have to make a new mold for the battery cover which has a flex pcb going to it for the two extra buttons. Please could you make these buttons use rubber domes and not microswitches - I know they're a little larger in size, but they would be WAY better for pressing all the time. When you use push to talk, you press it every 5 seconds. A microswitch will easily die very quickly. And it's also not very comfortable. A rubber dome switch is pretty much invincible - you will never get warranty returns on that. Please make a kit for Elite V1 and Elite V2. That's another idea for you free of charge :)

My playstation is italic blue. I did this mod 6 weeks after buying it. There is the option of using the fan wires for power but for me it's a little intrusive, also don't know if anybody else has spoken to ps5 support but the guy I spoke with said the warranty is void because I sprayed it but this is not the case as long as you don't touch the warranty stickers it's just their way of getting out of fixing/replacing console (t#@ts!)

You should read the Sony warranty regulations … this is what really counts … the warranty stickers are irrelevant … in a lot of countries those are not legal to void a warranty. Important is what they specify in their warranty regulations … they say ‘everything that you do that can potentially could lead to a fault voids warranty’ … you spray it … this is a potential hazard to the machine … of course this means your warranty is void … bizarre understanding ‘you can do what you want if you do not touch that stickers 😂 tof course! Only problem I see with this is being able to get into the m.2 SSD bay and being able to take the fan off to clean it as well as it taking up a USB slot.

Where is the problem … its only a led strip … its not welded iron bolted on … how often do you exchange ssd? But even if you do, simp,y lift it a bit … old out … get new in and use fast lock so no need for screwing.

LEDs last 50 years at least. Your console will be busted by then!

Run out of power? Then the PS5 is dead … get it repaired or call your electricity provider. If that stuff breaks its binned and you buy new one. Its only a 35£ product. This stuff is not repaired.

I was wondering about this, especially in 2023 when the devs drop ps4 support and do ps5 exclusive games. Then again, people use rgb leds in there pcs which I doubt PC elitists would do if it caused thermal problems.
