I recently installed the 010 kit and it is absolutely amazing. Better than the dual sense edge, the paddles on the scuff reflex feel better, but no trigger sliders. The Scuff rubberized grip feels better, but overall, this kit is better. Price, quality, functionality, it’s great. I’ll be getting this for my 050 controller. Just wish they had more color options.

Awesome video tutorial! I’d recently done clicky triggers then saw this kit released. Am I right in thinking they have no option for someone that wants a full clicky face and bumper buttons while leaving the function of adaptive triggers. Guess, it’s simply a compromise to have both type of triggers.

for me i use extreme rate site it tell us when we plug in our usb cable it tell us what model number we got . i did not do all that extra stuff looking at my number

For sure there are multiple ways to check. I think the visual check is best used lets you are buying a used controller from a private party or store. When you wouldn’t have a PC available to check. But you are correct and I forgot about the PC method that eXtremeRate says to try. Thanks for reminding me.

I have a small question. With regular RISE4 they have smooth, textured and rubberized grip. However this RISE4 Plus Max set has only rubberized grip option. Is it really a rubber, or is it only a plastic texture/pattern?

Would I be able to disassemble the controller fully even after the mod is installed? I want to add this mod to my controller and eventually I want to swap the thumb sticks and buttons when I have enough money, so my question is if I ever want to will I be able to disassemble the controller and swap the buttons/thumbsticks/bumper/triggers after I have fully installed this mod and reassembled the controller? Any help and feedback is appreciated I’m new to all of this🙏

Absolutely! I did it on an older controller I modded then went back and added the clicky kit. Just go in reverse. Take the back button cover off, unscrew and disconnect the board. Unscrew the controller screws and gently pry open remembering that there is a ribbon cable going to the back plate to the main board. Disconnect the ribbon cables and gently remove the board that is double side tapped down. Then disassemble as normal. Obviously it’s easier to plan ahead and do it at the same time but no reason you can’t do it after, just need to beware when prying it open.

nice video good job but one question when your press trigger on click mod how is felling itis good or it maybe can broking because i was waiting for some one used and try it and do you recommend to buy it ??

It feels very solid. It doesn’t feel like it will break. Because the arm for the trigger stop is so small, there isn’t enough leverage to bend or break it in my opinion. I definitely recommend this kit. I think it’s their best one yet and I have reviewed everyone since PS4 including switch, Xbox one, and PS5

How much more is it for a controler you need to assemble yourself?

The kit is around $50 usd…..if you already have a controller, that is your total cost. If you want to buy a new controller it would be another $70 usd……so around $120 or at least half of getting one prebuilt. I think it’s fun to mod them and it’s not very difficult at all.

Can I ask a favor? Disable the autofocus for youitube video, it will improve the quality.

Yeah, I’ve been struggling with autofocus. Really want to upgrade my camera but it’s hard living in Japan. They are so expensive. I will definitely disable it for future videos. Thank you.

it's just way better than a standard dualsense or even the edge. i know it because i'm way faster with it.

The 3rd and 4th buttons are so terribly designed if you want to use all the face buttons. Can't do things like crouch/jump and weapon change/interact/reload at the same time as you need to take your paddle fingers off to reach them. Terrible for 4 back button/paddle users.

I don’t disagree the K3 and K4 are not optimal but K1 and K2 feel really good. Honestly I’m not super competitive and don’t ever use them.
