First things first: Incredible product. I just received mine today for the BDM-020 (thankfully both of my controllers are this model), as well as my Canada themed front shell and black pebble-textured back shell (yep, I went all out. Merry Christmas to me!). The shell replacements were super easy. The key thing to remember (and I'll mention this again) is that you GO SLOW and TAKE YOUR TIME. Do NOT rush anything, despite thinking you know what the next step is. Even if you're right, just follow the instructions because the BDM-010 and 020 have different internal placement for some minor components that can make for a major headache if you skip steps or jump ahead. The LED kit was, thank the electronic gods above (and ExtremeRate) that there was NO soldering whatsoever and they even supplied the PVC tape to keep the one end from shorting out (merely as a precaution) and to keep some of the other circuit strips from getting bend or tangled. Very thoughtful of them! The placement of the circuit strips/wiring was spot on and not wild amounts of extra length to contend with. The ease of which the parts went it (again TAKE YOUR TIME and PAY ATTENTION), was like a breath of fresh air. Directions on each of the videos that I watched for all three pieces (front shell, back shell, LED kit) were perfectly paced, very precise, and even included moments of pause to highlight where each screw would come out/go in, and even had little arrows to show you which direction to turn them so they wouldn't get stripped. Included in the package was a small screwdriver designed for the screws, a small baggie of extra screws, and a plastic pry tool/spudger. They indeed placed everything in the box that you would need so you wouldn't have to scramble looking for something to use. Again, a very contentious and thoughtful company that wants to make sure you and your product succeed. The instructions for using the LED kit once fully assembled was great and straight forward. In the future, I will definitely be purchasing one for my second controller as well as an additional new front and back shell replacement. Thank you once again, ExtremeRate, for making not just my controller level up... but everyone else who gets one.

This was easier than I thought and worked out nicely. My only complaint is that I installed your buttons on 2 separate controllers, and the share and start buttons seem short and don't protrude out as far as on a stock controller. It still all works, however. Other than that, this and the clear blue shell are solid products. Thanks!

Non circle for the Switch Pro is not possible because the lights will be blocked by the middle frame of the controller. So we are working on the possibility of stick the light board on the middle frame.

@@Blvck-Jxss it’s cuz there’s different models on the controllers. But they recently released the new kit for the new version controller. So look for the led kit that says like 030 in the description. If it says 010-020 it’s not that one

The lights work and I can navigate the PS5 home screen with no problem. Access settings and all. The controller acts normal but when I go into any app or attempt to play a game the controller is unresponsive unless i plug it in directly to the console via USB. @@nadir5644 yeah I’d recommend downloading or going on game pad tester. Check and make sure all the buttons are working my issue was actually I forgot to connect the whole right controllers button ribbon connection in correctly. Once I figured that out it was smooth sailing. So what I learned is if any of the buttons don’t work on the controller the game/app won’t register or let you use that controller. I assume it’s an anti cheat protocol.

The instructions are great, however I have a problem. The Leds light up but the buttons do not work, then I have removed the Leeds again and installed everything as it was before. the controller works. I have a BMD-010 and so I also trimmed the felx cables. So everything that is BDM-020 I have cut.

LED won't power off, and I can't change colors (stuck on Red). I double checked the DTF LED Flex Cable connection and it is aligned to the columns of middle frame bracket (as per the FAQ section of this video). The Gamepad Tester (PC) shows B6 stuck at 1.00 and the L2 button is Black on the screen. How can I fix this? Thank you in advance.

Yes, install the face clicky first. You still can press down 2 dpad at the same time after you install the face clicky.

I installed the kit on 2 020 models …. It works fine first, but when the battery dies the controller flashes orange twice and I’m not able to charge it. I have to connect the battery directly to the controllers mainboard to charge it again … known issue? Any workaround?

Probably for compatibility with a remapping kit, unfortunately mine are already modded with the charmfocus kit. I don't think the LED mod is going to be compatible with that…
