So you can 1) Traverse through time 2) The speedo of the travel is variable So I dont see why that variable speed couldn't be negative. Then again, we shouldn't bother. If it is possible to achieve by us, humans, it probably has happened and we will never know about it (see above) or it is not possible by us and we will never know about it. Regarding the whole “displacing air molecules when teleporting” bit; I like how in the Castlevania Netflix series, whenever Dracula’s castle “moves” (teleports) from place to place, they do actually depict the catastrophic effects that the vacuum and displacement caused by the teleportation has on the immediate vicinity. Gale force winds ripping trees from the ground, leveling buildings and shredding nearby human & animal life; a small tsunami forming when the castle appears in a river, etc. It’s always nice when people can creatively apply just enough realism to the fantastical in a way that makes things so much cooler like that.

A "teleporter"-style time machine would work if it kept your position relative to the Earth or the machine itself, and switched you and a small bubble of air around you for an equally-sized bubble of air at your destination. This would make an amazing movie trilogy. Movie 1: Essentially the first portion of the video, the main character discovers time travel and creates a futuristic utopia. Movie 2: People attempt to rise up against the main character who is now the master of society. Movie 3: Someone else in the future discovers time travel, act one of the film wouldn't have the original main character, rather this new one doing what he did quicker and more powerful than he could, however he makes one big mistake, going back to correct an error which causes a split in the timeline. He then carries on, becoming, "God Emperor of Time" He then uses time travel to create a gateway into the main timeline of the series. The two empires would then have to battle for control over time.

Third movie couldn't happen since if the person in the main timeline is already a " God of Time" then he would probably stop the person in the other timeline (he would probably have full control at this point) before he became too powerful and could stand up to the person in the main timeline. Honestly, this anime is great. The plot, characters and arcs are beautifully executed. It followed the manga but also left some new developments. It's a fresh, unique concept that very much captures the pure essence of life itself. The animation is top notch, you can clearly see the love and care put into this franchise. Another small but great detail is that the backgrounds are so beautiful and had a lot of time put into them, despite only being showed for seconds. This anime truly makes sure each episode is carefully crafted, and you can see that clear as day. This was very much before its time.

@Yumiko yes, well thinking that you have the money to buy a boatload of ammo, you probably can buy a decent scope and have a gun that can shoot even farther than any bow and arrow operated by a simple human. Besides, even if not you probably could buy a decent bullet-proof vest or a suit and could withstand an arrow being shot at your chest. And if all else fails, guns can kill in one shot. Arrows can do the same without any armor and to a direct organ. The vest eliminates this threat to a substantial degree (except the brain may be left un-protected so you probably need a helmet too lol)

what’s crazy is that christopher columbus actually kinda did this. he wanted crops from some of the natives but they said no so he told them that in a week his god (who was in his mind “better then their god”) would make the moon disappear and it would turn red. this is a lunar eclipse, but the natives didn’t know that. however, christopher did, at the time we knew enough enough about our planet on the east side at least. he tricked them simply by knowing more.
