The original song "Exyl - Barcode Valkyrie" might be familiar if you heard my mix from last year. I scrapped the “Valkyrie” theme, but the song title is really badass for some reason… so I kept it. Been quietly working on it for a while. Fun fact: I wouldn't be here today without geometry dash. Literally, I discovered electronic music for the first time thanks to this game. To this day, it's still one of the biggest remaining communities of electro fans, and I cherish that. Its creators are hella talented. This music video is a tribute to GD because I'm excited for its 2.2 update. Happy 10th birthday to gd :)

The symbolism of a barcode to represent the struggle of the valkyrie is so stunning. Once again Exyl shoots for the stars with the message and reaches the edge of the solar system. Just like each barcode is a barrier to stealing the shopping item, the valkyrie is the barrier from success. Only once the GD icon goes past the valkyrie can it achieve success in life. Once again thank you Exyl for this deep message on how we must move forward past our struggles.

The barcodes are actually secret messages that link back to ping 2 (further supported by the oni which is based off the discord logo) as well as other songs. Some barcodes when translated are words such as "Preserve" and "Fight" (as mentioned in the video), however, others are statements such as one at 2:10 which translates to "Within the hidden depths of time's embrace, lies the enigma of preserving secrets untold". I am unsure of what the meaning is behind this as well as the other riddles/ statements hidden within the barcodes. I am astounded at how deep the Exyl Universe lore goes and shall be eagerly awaiting more info and clues about the Exyl lore in the upcoming songs.

Ok so if you didn't know, barcodes are part of the secret Exyl lore because the valkyries from ancient times descended from the heavens above to give Exyl the idea of barcodes, which he later shared with the rest of mankind. Also, have you ever wondered why Exyl and valkyrie both have the letter y in the 3rd quarter of their names? So did I! I found out that the ancient valkyries actually stole Exyl's name and tweaked it just enough to not get copyrighted, but Exyl wanted more. He eventually got them to give him a great idea that he could share with the rest of mankind. Can you guess what that idea was? I bet you can't because it's IMPOSSIBLE!

But then I saw the GD tribute, and it got me thinking: isn't GD about dying and trying again until you beat the stage? I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 0:21 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. The barcodes play a crucial role in the celestial universe of the valkries. They get distorted sometimes, producing weird noises that sometimes get stolen by people from a planet called ‘earth’. This is especially important to exyl lore because he called his latest song barcode valkries, forever tying him to their weird universe. The valkries thank him by giving him weird barcode noises which he then uses sometimes in his songs with autotune. I love the little touch in the title, referencing the great war and peace treaty of the Barcodes and the Valkyries. After 21 years of war in the forgotten isles, after many had been lost, the barcodes with their explosion based weaponry and the Valkyries with their blades, finally deciding to become peaceful again, signing the Barcode-Valkyrie treaty of 2078.
