She does , and I have zero evidence of this , but she strikes me as a democrat. I’m not saying that she can’t be impartial, but first it’s pretty much impossible to not have an opinion on trump and again I have zero evidence of this but my guess is she keeps up With current events and the news coverage and stuff. More so than most people. And if you keep up with that stuff it’s very difficult to be impartial on this particular defendant. I believe she believes she could be impartial. But I just don’t think they are going to find 12 impartial jurors. My guess is the trial ends in a hung jury 8-4 in favor of guilty. And they will decide to not try him again

I served as a juror in a murder trial here in Europe, and I experienced a similar sense of responsibility, duty, and awareness that our decision would profoundly impact someone's life. A juror decides based on facts presented to him, it's not easy to put aside ones emotions.

"That gravity," yes! I was in the pool for a murder case. I wasn't seated, but it was a sobering experience, and it was also very reaffirming as to the weight and decorum of our judicial system. I wish I could say the same for everyone now in a position of responsibility in that system....
