The Inkey List Retinol eye cream, I bought it as soon as I saw your review, it is a weak product that does not fit a dry or combination skin, I think it is better for oily skin, if you have fine expression wrinkles it accentuates them. In other words, I like what you do and how excited you are when you talk.
@NA-yy2ms4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cassandra. I really agree with you on eye creams. BUT you should be extremely cautious when saying that the undereye area is the same as the rest of our skin. That can mislead people into doing some pretty harmful stuff to their faces like doing chemical peels or applying strong retinoids under the eyes. This area is different and should be treated differently. Keep up the good job❤
@CassandraBankson4 жыл бұрын
This is so true, thank you! Anatomically it is "the same", and most of my words here do reflect a kind rebuttal to the idea that "the undereye area doesn't have pores" etc that's passed around social media - but you're right! Since it is thinner, exfoliation and strong ingredients can be more irritating. Technically, some chemical peels can be done around the eyes as long as they don't get in the eyes, but avoiding this risk is what most practitioners do. Additionally, it's hard to gauge the thickness or depth for each person. I really, REALLY appreciate you mentioning this and bringing it up! Love and appreciate you!!

I think there are some eye creams that make sense. For instance, when considering a retinol to help firm the skin around eyes, I’d assume the Avene or Neutrogena eye creams were made with that delicate skin in mind.

I’d had the Purito Green eye cream for a while in my stash of skincare and was not going to start using until I finished the current eye cream I was using. Decided to use it today as I was not getting the results I wanted with other. Pretty Chuffed to see it’s one of your favourites.. I also use The Ordinary Caffeine..I must be doing something right!😄

Thanks, I frequently have puffiness under my eyes 👀 the only remedy I found useful (till now) was a rosehip seed oil cream, which was actually for the face but which I put only under my eyes as it was very oily. I’ll try to find out if products you mention ship to Italy. Other videos about puffiness pleasee :)

I would love to see a video about some of the eye creams from brands you love and rave about, like the good molecules wake up eye gel. Thanks for your videos! They’re great!

Hallo Cassandra I would like to know what you think about the innisfree eye cream! I’m using the Orchid and the green tea. I really hope you’ll like them because I use them for a while and I satisfied with them.(I know they have fragrance but it doesn’t bother me as much...or should I?😆 it doesn’t irritate me) And sure, I put them all over my face.

Thoughts on the Burts Bees firming eye cream for under the eye darkness, wrinkles and for just all around the face wrinkles? It has Bakuchiol in it like the Follian eye cream you recommended.
