One of the really underrated things about eye cream is if you have acne prone skin, it really limits what kind of skincare you can use on your face and you miss out on a lot of great benefits from products that will unfortunately break you out. However, under the eyes is usually an area that won’t break out, so you can use things you wouldn’t normally be able to put on your face. That’s how it is for me anyway.

I am team eye cream too. The skin around the eyes could stand some extra love for sure. I have tried the Cosrx Eye cream and loved it. I would do eye patches under my eyes and then apply the Eye Cream over the serum when I took the eye patches off. I felt as though it did a great job.

I have been using the CosRx Snail Peptide Eye cream for over a year and I wish I could afford to put it on my whole face! The area surrounding my eyes is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter and tighter than the rest if my face! You can legitimately see where I stop when applying 😆It is overly ovclusive, but it works better than ANYTHING I've ever tried 💗💗💗

So this is the most extra routine, but I love layering the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate under the Dr Jart Ceramidin eye cream. It has basically eliminated my dark circles and I'm a very tired medical resident! With the layering, I use less product and they each last 6+ months.

I’m 48 and will say if you find the right eye cream, they are 1000% different than a regular face moisturizer. My eye cream graveyard probably consists of everything ever made. Lol. My two faves I’d love your opinion on sometime are the FaceTheory Ocuwake Eye Cream and the Embryolisse Eclat du Regard…which is one of those sticks that always feels like it just came out of the fridge when it just sits on the counter. Anyways…those are the two that for me, actually made a visible difference. 🎉

I used to be one of those who believed I need a specific cream for every part on my body 🤣. Needless to say they did nothing except make me feel pampered 🤦🏽. Then I started using 0.1% Tretinoin and I my wrinkles started disappearing in real time. Now I simply use a tub of 4$ vaseline all over my body and face with my 0.1% Tretinoin and I look 10 years younger 🤣🤣.

In my 20s, I was definitely all aboard that ~eye creams are an unnecessary waste of time and money~ train. But now in my 30s and the skin around my eyes turned into the Sahara while the rest of my face remains oily/combo so I absolutely do NEED an eye cream. And it's not like I care about wrinkles, dark circles or puffiness. I just want to be able to wear eyeshadow again - haven't any since I was 29, yall. I miss it 😮‍💨 Unfortunately I haven't found one yet that is gentle on my sensitive-ass skin while providing all the moisture and hydration I desperately need. All I can do is slather on Aquaphor all day and night until I find my holy grail eye cream. I've been eyeing that Pyunkang Yul eye cream for a while now. Maybe I'll get it in my next haul.

I always make sure that when I apply my vitamin c serum to my face I bring it up to my eye area. I love to use the L’Oréal revitalift then the Goldfaden bright eyes on top. This has made such a drastic difference! I will definitely be trying the It Cosmetics eye cream, I love eye products with caffeine in them ❤

I like kiehl’s creamy eye cream with avocado. I also like the Benton fermentation eye cream, SUKOYAKA SUHADA urea moisture eye cream, and the NIOD fractionated eye contour concentrate. I also like adding on top a bit of the NIOD hydration vaccine.

SOME OF US cannot use our regular moisturizer around the eyes. Many of my thicker, winter, moisturizers (if used around the eyes) seem to seep into my eyes and make my vision blurry...... so eye creams are needed. I've been using eye creams since age 25..... I'm now 60 and have zero wrinkles.

Amazing recommendations as always. I’m going to share something I’ve just learned and if it helps anyone out there, I’m glad! I occasionally used ointments around my eyes like the cerave or aquaphor & I noticed I was developing some milia. I came across a video by Dr. Sam Ellis where she recommended using an ointment as an eye cream UNLESS you have a tendency of developing milia. I’d never heard a single person mention this before, so I stopped doing the ointment thing around my eyes. I was wondering what could’ve caused the milia in the first place. Had no idea! Hopefully this helps someone out there.

Yep happens to me too, if I go to heavy on the cream. It was really, really bad when I was using clinique. A dermatologist mentioned this after a super extraction appointment. I stopped using Clinique and the difference was amazing!

It’s a common problem- milia around the eyes from too much occlusion, improper cleansing , not removing make up properly at night. As an esthetician, I deal with pesky milia on eyelids & under eyes regularly ! I personally use a retinol under eyes a few nights a week, & always use Murad Resurgence eye cream(pricey , but worth it)

hi Abbey I love your channel as i have said before your beauty inside and out shows through all your videos and i love the knowledge you give to all items you mention. as i look forward to hearing soon you will have a haircare or skincare line as i don't see anyone elsethat breaks down hair care like you do!!! I feel eye cream is essential as you get older and i am blessed to not have lines yet very very dry skin yet i still use same ye cream that is so inexpensive and many esticians that had all items like tatcha or stuff costing in the $200 range as derma E stem Cell Eye lifting treatment we get at Ulta for $25 or its between $22-$30 for 0.5 oz in a nice sanitary sqeeze bottle that lasts us both 4 months. When my husband who does have lines yet neither have any darkness under eyes just dry skin stopped using the eye cream for one week because we ran out and i can't recall what happened of why he didn't get more. His eyes got super dark under them and his lines and wrinkles got so bad as once he started using it again his eyes got better in 2 days as he had no darkness under them and lines went away. it is o good as i would say the best is the tatcha aging eye cream both owner and her VP or higher tat was the model both use and all are the best eyecreams ever yet so expensive yet iff you get them on monthly payments and are in need the aging one is the best. i thank you for mentioning the corsz and peach and lily as we use the corsx one most esticians use if not the tatcha one too very different yet cors of course is 3 times less and a stable as want to try the ccream yet now might do the eye cream instead as thank you for the reviews as would love for you to do your favorite moisturizers priced under $30 with no spf if u don't mind? we have been using la roche posay for a while yet not sure if should spend moeny on one i can't get right away plus could wait on buying eye cream and try snail mucin cream just wish they put all in jars as husband wont do vnicream as not sure what to get at Ulta since i have 20% and a ton of money i earned among a $10 coupon so getting the punkin sugar scrub as was going to a month ago yet decided to try the new soap and glory zing as i needed the AHA's in it to get dead skin off my body as had to use the cream mixed with my last of what i had of the cera ve ince it was a weird texture yet worked with getting off dead skin on body. I usually don’t use a designated eye cream, either. I usually stick with cerave healing ointment or the cicaplast baume, BUT I was gifted a jar of the Biossance marine algae eye gel and it’s beautiful. Worth the cost? Probably not, but it feels like luxury.

Try a retinol eye cream a few nights a week and something with caffeine during the day. Your results might be limited if it is anatomical. I have hollow under-eyes with thin skin. Had dark circles since I was a kid. Makeup is the only thing that covers them.

Do you know Korean brand Beauty of Josen. Their revive eye serum (cream) has Retinal and Ginseng. That's with an a, not a typo . It is crazy good. The price is sweet as well. Stylevanna and Yesstyle usually have it on sale. I do love most all their products however so always take advice with a "grain" 🧂 😄

CeraVe it's a MIRACLE! Incredible effective products and the most affordable price. During the day i use the "Moustorizing Cream": it's gentle, soft no greasy feeling and has NO FRAGRANCE thx god! My mom has the blue which you showed here and she's literally in love. It's more greasy, to use after u go to sleep. There's another laboratories like Bioderma which is my fav and I've been using for years. You should try it if you didn't before.

I was coming here to talk about milia too. I used the Cerave around my eyes and mouth and now have many milia in those areas. I don’t know what to do to get rid of them, and didn’t realize I would be prone to them.

What retinol eye cream do you suggest, or any eye cream that will help me. I have like wrinkly, dry crepey under eyes. It's like they need a layer peeled off lol. I'm 30 with senstive skin. PLEASE HELP!

I really love eye creams, but any of them that contain caffeine, and peptides, make my eyes water like crazy 😩 so I don’t buy or wear them often. These ingredients must stimulate my tear ducts too much or something. Doesn’t anybody else have this problem, or am I crazy lmao 🤣 I never hear anyone else with this problem 🤷🏻‍♀️ Love your video!

If I use a thick moisturizer it makes the glands under my eyes really visible, like little milia but not. I hate it ☹️ I want to try the beauty of joseon retinol eye cream

I say retinol eye cream or something like cerave healing ointment if you wear makeup then cool otherwise to spend a lot of money on them is nuts especially when its being sold to people as a fix all for fin lines puffiness and dark circles.

In regards to the cereve ointment, I try to use this under my eyes as well, but it always gets into my eyes. Do you have a hack for that? Maybe I'm just getting too close to my eyeballs?
