For the era in which it was made in I would say it was a great movie. I also have heard that Alfred Hitchcock was a very mean man and was very nasty to the women that were in the movie. Alot of sexual harassment from him.

Two differents beauties....movie doesn't seem great to me,but i think gorgeous and unlucky sharon tate acted much better with her own voice(that was her real vocal timbre)and lovely and talented red head deborah kerr did best performances in the others movies
