Just want to say that this is awesome! Very helpful. I took an actual 320 hour class so that I could get licensed and was basically thrown into a class and just told to practice on other students however I could. And the “teacher” did not go over the practical..I was left confused and disappointed and I never wanted to take it for fear of failing..but thanks to this I think I’m going to give it a chance!

I am trying to help my student go test with PSI, but PSI is giving me the hardest time getting prior approval to sign in and it's the same for my students, How can I get them tested with PSI? She already completed her 320 lash extension specialty hours, but I have not been able to get her in to test with PSI, is the process always like this?

What do you mean ? What’s the reason they are giving you are there not test dates available? or what exactly is going on are they showing the student has indeed finished the hours? Something seems off

Who will give you one? The day of the state board practical test you walk in with you own kit ready. I have a video showing how to prepare your kit for the test if you are in Texas. Remember you must go through school first and they will more then likely prepare you for the test .

You clean the lashes after putting the eye pads on? Also does the oils from the wipes effect the glue from sticking to the lashes? If doing it from home would they allow to use actual shampoo or are the wipes required

You can “clean lashes “ before the pads it’s fine . The wipes are not required not sure about the lash shampoo I would ask your instructor/school and no the wipes do not affect the lashes from adhering . Six lashes is all you need to apply all should be good.

On the last section, blood exposure incident. We just leave the trash bag/ biohazard bag on the table like that? And also isn’t it cross contamination if I’m going into the the biohazard bag and going back to touch the face???? Taking test Monday… please help

Yes you leave the bag there on the side of you as you are working on that section it’s over a clean paper towel, once done you will dispose of the entire thing, also you can sanitize your hands each time you go into your bag. Everyone will do each section a little different the best option is for you to do it the way your instructor trained you . 💕

Try to remove the marks off the mannequin, are they stains ? And yes hand written labels are fine.

Water? Where are you going to get water from? .. I don’t think that will be necessary all you need is one drop of adhesive in your glue ring remember you only have to apply 6 lashes.

Hi sorry to hear that. Question did your school not do a full run through of the test with you the practical? Also did you see what areas of the test you missed the most points on? You have to ask yourself if you kept cross contamination in mind , we’re you closing jars and not leaving kit or anything open were you disposing of trash properly , there’s many factors. Reach out to your school for assistance and go back 🍀🍀🍀

So it doesn't really matter if you only take out the pre exam and disinfection bag during the 1st part of the test because I always figured it would be a whole lot easier vs trying to have ti hold 2 bags on one hand I'm liable to drop a bag that way . Just as long as you do each part correct there is no special order the bags need to be taken out in

@@jandlsisters6927 if you have a copy of the psi packet you can see everything is in sections we have always trained our students to take each bag out during the specific section they are on and it has worked for us for the last 9 years . They will not take any points off for going in and out of your kit as long as you are sanitizing your hands each time and you are maintaining your kit closed.
