Eyeless Blind Pastel RES Turtle

My new little addition to the family, a disabled, blind, eyeless yet full of energy pastel red ear slider named Slender (Slender man) :')

I have a milk snake that I from one of my friends that half of his body is paralyzed. he wanted to put him down but I took it from him and know he's doing real good he eats every time I feed him.

I recommend a lot to get toads cus I own 3 and I've bin so happy with them and there my fav pets I own and they do like to be to gather and there very easy to take care of

it's kinda messed up that they're saying YOU of all people "are getting them cause you enjoy it" and calling you fucked up. like I said, really you of all people xD. and if it's actually a really good thing that you're takin them in because not only cause you wanna help give them the special care they need but also they're are people out there who want these kinda turtles just for show and who won't give proper care. so in a way you're like protecting them from that :P

I can imagine how good it makes you feel to care for these disabled animals. I recently adopted a juvenile leopard gecko that got into a fight in the pet store. No tail (not a big deal) but only half a leg. They were going to euthanize it, but I took it for free. It is now more than double in size and doing great. It makes me feel great and now I know how you feel. Keep up the great work.

I had a kitten with a disease so I always wore something because I did not want to get infected so I took care of her carefully so she wont get in any trouble then I had to give her away. ;(

You're so awesome, seriously! Good on you for keeping this turtle. It has the very, very best chance at a happy life in your care. I'm in awe of how you manage all these pets. I'm a crazy animal lover but I have very few pets compared to you and sometimes struggle to manage the daily feeding, interacting, cleaning etc. I own a cat, an Eastern Rosella (a very demanding parrot. Known for being aggressive and flighty and in no way suitable for a companion but here we are 3 years later. He has never had his wings clipped and he is not hand fed and used to be very aggressive, but I have trained him to speak and do all sorts of tricks such as waving, spinning around, stepping up etc. He is now completely tame!) budgerigars, bettas, tropical fish, a mouse and a water skink. Could you give me any tips on how you manage all your pets on a daily basis? Thanks so much!
