I've been incorporating a lot of Asian-eye techniques for my super-hooded, "mature" eyes. I cannot do this one, because I literally have a fold of skin over the outside corner of my eyes, which makes it impossible. My eyes aren't naturally downturned, but these hoods really bring them down.This is a brilliant eye beat, though. Appreciate the video!

Super helpful. I have very sparse lashes that don't like going upwards. I gently heat my lash curler and I found that Maybelline waterproof mascara is the only one that doesn't weigh-down my lashes. I've tried SO many expensive brands but this is the only one that is tried and true!

Something I do to keep my lashes up is that before curling I'll go in with a clean spoolie and twirl it while going through my top lashes. Then I'll just brush them up a few more times normally, and then curl and add mascara 😊

Ngl I struggled doing this the first 5 months I’ve been doing my make up, and for me the trick is to draw my liner while staring straightly into a mirror instead of halfway closing my eyes. That way, I can see the actual shape I’m creating. My crease is also super short near my eyes so I tend to make my shape a straight line instead of generally upward because it achieves the same shape while not making it super upturned. Thanks for the tips tho! 💕

My favorite mascara for stubborn Asian lashes is the lancome defincils waterproof mascara in the really thin tube. I’ve got super long lashes that fall flat and I look like I have no lashes and when I curl them it’s super long but just falls down and that mascara is the only thing that actually works to hold them up
