I didn't even realize I had partially hooded eyes until I tried to do eyeliner and it literally disappeared when I opened my eyes. If I ever do eyeliner, I'm absolutely trying this

Sometimes it's easier to practice with the smallest brush you can find and eyeshadow. For the wings too, a lot less nerving than a eyeliner. If you mess up, you can just smudge it away easier and go back in. 😊

Yes avoid doing an all over line for eyeliner if u have small hooded ones, I didn’t wear eyeliner for years bc I thought it just didn’t look good on me but it was bc I lined the whole eye instead of only the outer third of it winged out straight like she’s doing here. When u line all the way around it kind of closes off ur eye and makes them appear smaller and I always felt like it aged me like a decade too. Much more flattering for anyone who doesn’t have super big eyes or has hooded ones to keep liquid liner to the outer eye only and then u can tight line or use shadow on the rest of the eye if u wanna define the top lash line and add a small inner corner point too but I’m sure there’s exceptions to this rule and ppl who can rock it even with hooded small eyes but in general if u wanna make ur eyes look bigger or emphasized id avoid putting liquid liner on the inner half of ur eyes and keep it on the outer corner :)

If you open your eyes and your eye make up disappears you have hooded eyes to some degree. There are fully hooded and partially hooded eyes, and hooded eyes are not limited to any one race.

My love, you “copied” this from 20+ years of makeup artists doing and teaching the same trick. Please refrain from pretending as if this (and the using your eye to map out your eyebrow, etc) are your original ideas. It’s disingenuous, it makes you look shady. And most of all, it’s embarrassing.
