This week I thought it would be helpful to show you how to wear an eyeliner so that it opens up and creates the illusion of bigger eyes. I know many of you are scared of eyeliner as you feel it closes up and makes your eyes seem smaller, espeically when we have hooded eyes. Do not worry......this film has some helpful makeup tips that might make you feel more confident to give eyeliner another go.

Oh Caroline, now your talking. I love love love this look. I have soooo many palettes and and one shade from each. The boring’est ever so slightly darker than my skin to that’s matt to disguise my hooded lids and that’s it. Never step out of my comfort zone, not even to experiment when I’m not going anywhere. Yet I occasionally whip out a sparkly urban decay liner and do this look as my mum used to always notice and admire it. I’m going to do it again tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me. Xx

I’ve recently found your videos & thoroughly enjoy watching them. Not only are you brilliant at ‘your trade’, but you appear to be genuinely lovely, non pretentious woman. There's always a point in your videos where you look in the mirror and give a contented sigh (sometimes accompanied by, "Good!") To me this embodies, in a nutshell, the power that makeup can have to uplift us - and don't we all need that?! That aside, I have never in my life, been able to 'do' a liquid liner because it always made my eyes look like mis-shaped buttons. Thanks so much for all the tips you give- like not taking the concealer up to the lower lash line! Do you know what has been a game changer for me- you'll probably laugh - it's keeping cotton buds handy ! I loved the video Caroline - i have tiny hooded eyes - so I have to go easy on the eyeliner - I'll try the bright metallic and see how it goes.. I spent quite a while yesterday morning (sitting in bed with a cup of tea as usual) wondering where your video was, and when it didn't appear at the usual time, hoping that everything was OK with you. It was only this morning as I told my husband that I was going to see if the video had come out yet, that he pointed out you were probably OK since today was Saturday. DOH! You mentioned being really busy - take it easy and be kind to yourself (but try and keep on top of what day it is!!)

Recovering from the worst of covid and thoroughly enjoying one of my favourite you tube muas. My daughter gave me the multichrome Natasha Denona liquid shadow with green dominating it. Ive never had much luck with liquid eyeliner as I cant hold my hand steady enough without jawing it all over the place. I absolutely love that green though!! It just made your whole face come alive and light up. Its a beautiful look and goes perfectly with your lovely yellow jumper. I have a question/request for you. Would you be able to talk about putting together a basic makeup kit, the absolute essentials and something that would work if going on holiday. I always find I take far too much makeup with me and end up not using most of it but worry if i dont take something I might need it lol. Thought it would be good for all of us who might finally be getting brave enough about flying off in a sardine tin for holidays. Lovely video as always. I only buy makeup I can get at department stores, sephora or my local pharmacy. You show some really nice products, but I would never seek them out on line as the shipping is usually quite expensive an really it’s just so much easier to pick things up around my city when I’m out running errands. This is lovely and a great way to add a modern edge without overdoing anything. My naturally dark golden blonde hair is greying around the front and with a few highlights as well it’s looking natural and flattering around the face but my eyebrows now look too dark in contrast. My brows are quite definite and I’ve been tinting them light brown to cover the greys for a while but my lighter hair is really showing them up as being a bit too dark and I can’t seem to find any blonde eyebrow tint. I am trying the one you recommended. Please could you help? I love your approach and it’s a pleasure to catch up with your vids as an escape from everything else. Thank you! 🙏🌟

Thanks as always for such an inspiring video, I tried my own version with what I had, a turquoise liner followed by black (I have blue eyes) but it seemed to work so well with the soft copper and a neutral lipstick that, so much so, a friend said how nice I looked (no prompting!) Still struggling a little with eyeliner placement on rounded, prominent AND crinkly eyes though…! But thanks so much xx
