Having sung with the Sea Chanters as a first tenor between 1966 and 1970, I am totally impressed with the huge variety of music they do along with having the talent to bring it off. We were all male back then, good for sea shanties and patriotic music but nowhere near what the group does today. I listen to performances like this and sometimes marvel that I was lucky enough to once belong to the group. They sang here in Asheville in 2019 and asked me to pose with them for a group photo before they went on to their next job. Needless to say I was quite moved by their kindness and the respect they gave me. (I hope I deserved it.)

Casey Elliot was captivating. She set the mood, and was well supported by the band, players and singers, who also got the Arabic singing, clapping and Eastern intonation right! Jonathan Yanik was superb on the Soprano Saxophone, and Scott Silbert's arrangement was brilliant!! Compliments to the US Navy and their classy musicians.
